The welcome was warm and our room was very clean and comfortable. The Montparnasse area is lively and has lots of good restaurants. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as a base. From Charles de Gaulle airport, take RER, line B, to Denfert Rochereau ( about 45 mins) then two stops on the metro to Edgar Quinet (line 6). Hotel... More

For the second year running we stayed at the Hotel and enjoyed every minute. It is "francais vrai", unique, and not just another hotel. Excellent English spoken by friendly and helpful staff. Close to the Metro and the magnificent Creperies of the Montparnasse district. If you want to experience staying in Paris rather than a copy-cat international hotel this is... More

This cute boutique hotel was excellent in the beginning. The bathrooms were nice, the tv provided good channels, and the beds were comfortable. They also "provided breakfast" (I'll get to that later). The hotel was conveniently placed near major subway stations and some good restaurants. When we were all ready to go an extra payment was on our bill, breakfast.... More

Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your review on Tripadvisor made November 17, 2014. You actually stayed from 14 to 17 August 2014, and booking is very clear that the buffet breakfast is not included. Rate for Buffet breakfast is of € 13 per person. More than 3 months have passed between your stay at Hotel Delambre and your... More

To celebrate my partners birthday, we had 4 days in Paris. I wanted something french not flashy and opted for the Hotel Delambre, in the Rue Delambre, Montparnasse. The Hotel is typical french, most of the staff are bilingual. The lift was miniscule and the stairs were steep. Our room on the 3rd floor faced the street, it was quiet,... More

This is a very convenient and cozy 3 star hotel in the best location. Just nearby the subway where there is a very nice market each sunday and near all the good restaurants such as the Relais de L'Entrecote (best steak & fries in the world) and the famous "La Coupole" (20s style). I have been there at least 4... More

Well when I say large, all things are relative. But if you have visited 3-stars hotels in Paris you will appreciate the extra square meters available in the room. We had room 22 which had a small balcony overlooking rue Delambre. Thanks to a good soundproofing the room was quiet. The WiFi was a bit slow but was working at... More

This hotel is small, but very clean, with lovely staff, good breakfast and fantastic location. Our room was small, but cosy. Very clean, with good size bathroom and lovely shower. We had breakfast one morning here too and it was very good. The staff was very polite and helpful. Only 30 sec walk to nearest Metro station and 7 mins... More

We stayed two nights before returning home from a great two week vacation in France. We had read the reviews prior to booking so we weren't surprised when we got to the hotel. And they are pretty accurate. It is a small hotel but clean and safe - two key things for me. The rooms are starting to look a... More

Room was small but cosy with a view on the Rue Delambre road. Very limited amount of electrical outlets. Advertised as free Wifi, but it was paid service at the time of the visit. Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
