The Hotel Chaplain is directly connected to the Northern and Eastern train stations by the Métro line 4. The hotel is very comfortable and stylish at the same time. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you need help and the breakfast is recommendable because much better than the usual idealess breakfasts in France. Wifi on the rooms is... more

This was our first family visit to Paris. The Hotel Chaplain was a very nice experience. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The Hotel is very good with English speaking guests. The breakfast was fantasic. The rooms while small, were very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well -- the temperature in Paris during out visit approached (32C) ~90F.... more

Location fantastic, metro vavin 1 min, great restaurants v close. Hotel great, very friendly helpful staff, breakfast good (try and get it included if you can). Only downside is room is a bit pricy for size (we had superior room, not sure worth the extra money). more

The bed was VERY hard. I know European beds are generally hard but I couldn't sleep it as so hard. My husband who normally likes hard beds thought it was a bit hard. We had a superior room with the mini bar included. However they only put one coke, orange juice, and water in the bar. In other words, it isn't... more

Spent six nights there and loved this hotel. Location is central to all the sites and metro stop is very close. Everything is walkable. Good restaurants/cafes close by. Rooms are small but well organized. Has hair dryer and magnifying mirror. Beds are comfortable and staff are very accomodating. Mini bar is free - very nice bonus. Elevator is small but... more

The hotel is nice and clean, but SMALL!!! Wireless internet is free - you get your password at the desk. No shower curtain in the shower, so it gets wet fast. No iron here, but they do give you a blowdryer. Room by the elevator constantly hears knocking sounds. The "elevator" itself only holds four people without luggage. Also, we... more

In general, our stay at the Hotel Chaplain Rive Gauche was very good. The location of the hotel was perfect; near Montparnasse Avenue where there are many shops and cafes. Moreover, it's only about 3-5 mins walk to Vavin metro station. We coundn't be happier about that. The check in was fast and efficient. The room is not big, but... more
