It's a great place to stay in Paris, not only because is a nice place, but because it is located in the center of the city, allowing you to walk all over the city without any need of buses, subway or other way of transportation. The people there are excellent, they also help you with everything.

it has left such an impression on me, and i've recommended it countless times! the staff is amazing, they are very helpful, the rooms are small but very clean, when i say small, i say its hard to move around, and when you have two large suitcases its a pretty terrible ordeal trying to shuffle around, other than that its... Quaint little hotel with character. Staff very friendly and helpful. Twin room was very small but the location and efficient use of space more than made up for this. The lift is also tiny but choosing the stairs meant feeling less guilty about visiting a few of the nearby pâtisseries. Quiet area with lots of antique shops and art galleries. Located... More

The hotel is a typical Parisian hotel, it is clean and has friendless staff. The people were very accommodating and made us feel at home. The hotel is just across the louvre and down the street from museum d'orsay. It is close to many attractions and cafés but it is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Rooms are smaller than... More

Conveniently situated this hotel looks lovely in the pictures and at reception but it needs, in my opinion, some modernisation. The lift is tiny but quirky and quick. Our room was a twin but there was not much room to move and the beds were so close it could have been a double. There was one plug which was by... More

Great value, two blocks from museum and river and lots of fun things to do. Helpful staff, small lobby with free newspapers and cold drinks on request, secure, quiet and very clean rooms. My top floor twin was very nice. Enjoyed my stay.

Our confirmed 3 bedded room appeared to be a misnomer when we arrived at 9pm: we were given a second room for the first night after we suggested this ourselves and again likewise did not have to pay for this, after we suggested this ourselves. No tea/coffee making facilities in room nor drinks- water would have been good, if not... More

Fantastic location close to the river, museums, and transportation. We walked to a lot of the sights. We were lucky and got the triple room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The smallest elevator I have ever seen but it worked. Lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood.

The hotel is very well located in a quiet neighborhood of residences and antique shops, and close to the Seine and Metro. It is completely adequate and well priced. Note that the single rooms are on the street (though a quiet street). Recommended if this suits your needs.

I took a chance and booked this hotel based on it's location even though there were negative reviews. Stayed there May 21 to 25 2014 and couldn't have had better service. Yes the room was tiny but well decorated and spotless. And only a few feet away the D Orsey, great bakery and restaurants. So forget the bad reviews.....but know... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
