We stayed here for one night on our recent trip to Paris. On arriving the receptionist was amazing helping us with our sightseeing trip. The hotel and room were exceptionally clean. There was parking available at an extra charge of 25 euros - very useful! The only thing was personally I found the bed too hard resulting in a broken... More

I have stayed here or at their sister hotel (Hotel Minerve) on every trip to Paris, and I just love it! The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and comfortable (and gorgeously decorated!), and the location cannot be topped (imo). I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! I don't ever want to visit Paris and not stay... More

We are more than pleased with room facilities and location. The bed was extra comfy, like being at home. The price was too far excesive I believe and the recepcionist had not knowledge about monument we asked for. Her welcoming was cold and really made us feel just like customer, not like other places we have stayed, where memeber of staff usually... More

We booked direct, and asked for a room that was high up, facing the street, and with a bath. Amazingly (baths being rather rare and special in Paris hotel rooms) we got exactly that. We stayed on the 4th floor in room 42, which is small, a bit scruffy, but with views out over the streets below and well-glazed windows... More

Like any hotel in a big city, exoect a small.room. That being said, ours was well laid out and comfortable. The proprieters speak several languages fluently and are very helpful. The locstion is ideal, within easy walking distance of the Ile de Citie and major attractions like the Louvre. We quite enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here... More

We were travelling with our two older teens and wanted to make sure we got rooms next to one another and also that the kids each had their own bed. The staff could not have been more helpful when I emailed them (several times!) booking us into Rooms 62 and 63 - which were across the hall from one another... More

We were so fortunate to have wonderful and helpful staff like Gladys and Nicholas! Also, the owner Eric, took me by the arm outside to show me directions to get the bus to Gare d'Lyon -which is only 10 minutes by bus. Room was a bit small but was very clean and nice to have a mini-fridge, since we also... More

This is the third time we have stayed in this charming family owned Hotel and it didn't disappoint - we LOVE it. It is so central and an easy walk to all the inner City attractions and tourist destinations. The staff are friendly and helpful and all speak English. The rooms are small but quaint and the one we stay... More

Stayed overnight is this little family run hotel. The location is excellent, just a few minutes stroll to Notre Dame. The hotel is situated on a pleasant street, and is conveniently located for catching the metro. The room itself was quite small, but had everything that you needed including a mini fridge and air conditioning. Staff were very helpful, all... More

We've stayed here for 4 nights. Rooms was really tiny, but it wasnt a problem because we've spent all the time in the city. Pillows are not very comfortable, but the bed was OK. Also there is a safe in the closet. They change towels on your demand (only if they are on the floor). NOTICE: there is no ironing... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
