Our room was small but adequate with a nice bathroom. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our favorite aspect was the location. I do recommend earplugs, as the walls are thin, and a late-night party across the street was quite loud. Overall, a great value that I really recommend. more

Highly recommend Hotel de L'Esperance. Excellent value - significantly lower rate per night than other hotels we considered in the Luxembourg Gardens/Latin Quarter areas. This was our third trip to Paris, and our favorite hotel. Loved the location - there is a laundry facility down the street, a great fruit stand in the morning towards Rue Mouffard. We don't do the breakfasts in France, they are all the same (bread, jam and drink). Too much, for too little. It is much better to wander... more
