This hotel is well placed for the Marais, Notre Dam, Latin Quarter, Louvre -- and if the attraction you want is not within walking distance, the Metro Hotel de Ville is. A stylish, old fashioned hotel with very french decor. The air conditioning worked well. We had a room on the top floor, which was spacious and even had two... More

This is a very antique (old) hotel with the best location ever. The €8 breakfast was a joke but there are several boulangeries (bakery's) close by! We got the room on the 6th floor which could accommodate 4 people and it was about €170 per night. Room view was awesome with a balcony and skylight. If you're looking for a... More

This hotel is what you think antiquated hotels would look like. I stayed with my daughter. We requested a balcony room at the last minute and got one. The room was tiny we could not walk past each other side by side in the available space, but it was fine. We just needed a base and somewhere to sleep. If... More

We stayed there for 2 nights. We had a room on the 5th floor with a nice view from the balcony (not so easy access). The room was quite big for Paris standards. The bathroom was ok, clean, which is important. The tv is so small m that you can hardly see anything. There was free wifi in all the... More

Everything you need in a Paris hotel. Comfort and charm. Location and looks. Value and very nice staff. Can't wait to visit again. And again and again. All rooms are pretty and pleasant but the upper floor rooms have balconies and beautiful views, too. And if course that little elevator saves the day!

Superb decoration! It's like living in a castle, although the rooms are smaller than in a castle. Nice people who work there, very good service! The rooms have no safetybox, but it's not a problem, the reception could keep our computer in their safe.

this is one of the better hotels we've stayed in Paris and will definitely go there again. It is tucked in a little square and flanked by three great brasseries, one of which still serve great food at midnight. It is very clean, have a lovely view and reception is extremely polite and helpful. The location is great with 5... More

After supporting this hotel for the last four years I have finally given up. The rates have now become too high and do not relate to the service offered. Rooms look tired and the service is fragmented, especially at night. Although our booking was supported by a credit card we were asked to pay for the first night and treated... More

Loved every minute but read on fellow traveller . . . If you long for an untypical experience this is the place for you . . . 6 floors, elliptical stair case that was built 50 years before the building, the building dates from about circa 1600 (my uninformed guess), haphazard staff friendliness (weekend casuals don't try too hard, weekday...
