Le Citizen was the perfect place to stay for our 3 nights in Paris. The rooms were clean & comfortable, the staff were very helpful in recommending & booking restaurants etc, & the location was perfect! Thanks for making our stay in Paris truly enjoyable :) Oh I nearly forgot - the breakfast that they have available is fantastic!! -... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel last weekend as a celebration treat for my birthday. Arriving from Gare du Nord the hotel was located on two stops away on the metro and was very easy to find. With a slightly longer walking distance, the hotel was also located very near to the stop 'Republique' which had several metro... More

We stayed here for 3 nights for a birthday celebration. The hotel is small but chic being recently refurbished overlooking the St Martin canal. We had booked the city k room which is spacious with the most enormous bed I've ever slept in - 200cm wide as well as a couple of armchairs and a desk and chair - the... More

My boyfriend booked Le Citizen as we were after a mellow September weekend break around Canal St Martin and Le Marais. The location is fantastic and the staff all really helpful during the booking and on arrival. We loved the ipad offer and first impressions were excellent. On our last night my boyfriend got food poisoning really badly, we'd eaten... More

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay in our hotel and it is quite unfortunate that it ended on a different note, which was totally beyond our control. I am very sorry that neither of you were feeling well on your last day. As a business, we considered it a nice gesture to offer a 25% discount.... More

Stayed at Le Citizen for 2 nights whilst in Paris en route to SW France. Selected the hotel based on TA reviews and aas we were looking for something a bit less touristy. The hotel is a bit off the main tourist area but that is not a negative as the area is quite interesting and somewhat unique with the... More

We stayed here for 7 nights at the end of July. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful and our room, the Zen Suite, was fabulous. The bed, bathroom, everything was top quality, and the the shower deserves a special mention. The location of the hotel is convenient for getting around the city via metro and is atmospheric and... My husband and I stayed at Le Citizen in Paris in September along with another couple. I had heard about the hotel in A NY Times article. It is located on a lovely canal in an area around the Marais. We had all been to Paris before and felt like we didn't need to be in the center of things... More

Stayed here for three nights. We arrived in Paris by eurostar, and it only took 15 mins by tube from Gard du Nord. We stayed in a city room on the 4th floor with views over the canal. The room itself was small, but had everything you needed. The shower was amazing. The bed was even better- could have slept... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and were happy with the experience and impressed by the hotel and staff. In advance of our stay, we received a helpful email with directions and some neighborhood recommendations. We arrived via train from Gare du Nord and were able to walk to the hotel (about 15 minutes walk), but I wouldn't recommend this... More

First of all, the staff helped us greatly. Its a very welcoming hotel. Me and my husband stayed here for just one night, but it was an unforgettable night. The room looked excellent and the bed was very comfy. Also the room was clean and light, with a beautiful view on the canal Saint Martin. We got a lot of... More
