Had read the reviews on trip advisor and had booked it based on these. I was looking for a place to stay at Paris CDG airport. I had never heard of the Citizen M before but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I loved the tablet to control everything in my room from the blinds, to the lights to the TV. The... More

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was well designed and so comfortable.......and a wonderful bathroom, again good design.Mini bar and breakfast are free. It was wonderful watching Paris walk by during breakfast (a good and healthy breakfast). I have found just the right hotel for my visits to Paris.

We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2014. The room (a Zen Suite), although a bit Ikea-ish, was very spacious, well-planned, with a lovely view of the canal. Perfect for myself, my husband, and our 1-year old daughter. The bed was quite lovely, pillowy and soft. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Fresh croissants, homemade yogurt and jams, fruit, cheese,... More

I have been travelling to Paris many times. I used to have my favourite hotel in the Marais. For my last trip I couldn't find rooms available to that hotel therefore I look for another option. And I found Le Citizen. And I couldn't be happier! The perfect place on the side of a very nice canal, with people hanging... More

Very nice little hotel by the canal St Martin and very friendly staff. In bathroom you find ear plugs, use them, and you have a good night sleep with a beautiful canal view. It's easy and nice to have a morning run by the canal banks.

Stayed one night. The hotel is nicely designed (though too IKEAish) but clearly very overhyped in Tripadvisor (number 12 in Paris?). Staff seemed from the beginning really uninterested and in any case, pretty amateur. Hotel is a main street so mind the noise. Anyway, the only interest that the girl at the front counter had with me was when picking... More

Dear Daniel830, I am very sorry and I would like to apologize if you were offended by Laure's question. It was certainly insensitive but she never wanted to hurt you. The satisfaction of our guests is our priority and Laure always goes out of her way to help them. I really hope that you will give us the opportunity to... More

OK, I made my last-minute booking of one night on Hotels Tonight, for about half the going rate of the hotel. I understand that this meant that breakfast was not included; I can also understand that the "free minibar" included exactly two bottles of (tap) water. What I cannot understand is how anyone would want to stay in such an... More

We loved everything about this cheerful, immaculate, welcoming hotel. Wonderful, sunny location facing the charming canal scene-- we loved opening the beautiful French windows (with children's guards) and having fresh air in our room. Owner Sophia and/or her staff are on scene day or night to offer a complimentary glass of wine or cup of tea. The included breakfast was... More

This hotel is tiny but right in the heart of Parisian Paris. Next to the canal teaming with life, a warm and friendly staff team and access to some superb restaurants within an easy walk. The rooms were clean and bright, (make sure you book the larger ones, the small ones are rather cosy!) Free minibar and a glass of... More
