We had a lovely stay at the charming La Belle Juliette - quite possibly the prettiest boutique hotel decorated with modern Parisian flair and such attention to detail. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a junior suite (a nice surprise). The suite was spacious with a sitting area and 2 Mac computers that also function as TVs. Location-wise, it is... More

My boyfriend booked this hotel for my birthday present and I couldn't have been happier! The service was fantastic - greeted by friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble - we also got a free glass of champagne because it was my birthday. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. It was a delight staying here and I'd... More

Very classy and modern decor hotel. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Rooms were small, as expected, but very well organized. Shower area was larger and very nice. The iMac was a nice touch. Breakfast was good but very expensive. You can find better for less elsewhere. The spa was very cool and loved the small pool. Also, very close... More

I stayed at the hotel on my own while attending a wedding and doing a bit of sightseeing. It was the perfect location and the room was just gorgeous. The staff were so kind and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them. Beyond charming. I would love to come again soon.

We spent three nights in this charming hotel. We upgraded to the slightly larger room, and it was more than adequate for the two of us, although some might consider it quite small. The staff were a highlight of our stay. Very friendly and helpful. On our last day we didn't have to catch the train until 7.45pm. It was... More

We stayed for two nights on our honeymoon. This is the perfect hotel for a romantic few days in Paris. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special. They put rose petals on our bed, and gave us a couple of glasses of champagne. The interior of the hotel is gorgeous. We stayed on the first... More

We stayed at La Belle Julliette for a full week beginning 7/29, celebrating our anniversary. The front desk staff was charming, helpful, very sweet. We know very little French and had no problems. Our room was upgraded to a larger one, which was very much appreciated. It was a nice size and stylish. They sprinkled rose petals on our bed... More

La Belle Juliette has a small frontage in a mostly residential area of Montparnasse but once throught the front door it is a real little jewel.Friendly and helpful reception staff, a lovely interior with beautifully decorated guest areas and a little courtyard.Breakfast too expensive, but places nearby as an alternative. Our room, while small, was chic and modern with good bathroom and separate loo... Arriving straight off the Eurostar they allowed us to check in early which was really good as otherwise would have been a dump your bags and head straight out. The people on reception were really helpful and gave us a little tour which was nice and even a little l'histoire of the hotel lol. The room was quite small but... More

This hotel was just lovely, from the moment I walked in the door. The food is fantastic - one night I had room service - just soup and a cheese plate. Well, the soup was fab garden pea with truffle infused goat curd. So goooood! Cheese was also excellent. Perfect meal just in my room. Staff helped me book a... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
