We were pleasantly surprised by the room ..it was not huge but had everything we needed including a small balcony, tea and coffee, bathroom with shower and toiletries, TV, safe, minibar. Perfectly clean and comfortable. Despite the rain we would have stayed longer. The area was so handy, we never used the metro we just walked everywhere. I can't imagine... More

I booked the Junior Suite for myself & my 2 children as a birthday treat for my eldest child. I had been forced to cancel a booking elsewhere at the last minute & therefore my choices were more limited than they would ordinarily be, particularly as I wanted somewhere where would be able to cook my own food. I booked... More

Pros: Beautiful rooms with castle type finishing. Lift.. Walking distance from two metro stations. Ledru rolin and Bastille. Very close to Opera. Lots of eating options around. Good connectivity by bus as well. Main attractions are close..eg Notre Dam about 10 mins by bus Cons: Nothing that we didn't like.

Three of us were traveling so we had two rooms. We had read that the rooms were small so we upgraded when we made the reservations and were very glad we did as even the superior room was small. Both rooms had one queen bed. While we do not like a double bed in this case we would have preferred... More

We booked this hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews, and found it consistent with ratings others had given it. It's within walking distance of the Gare de Lyon (which was essential), but it offers much more than that. The room was clean and cosy, but had a balcony which gave great street views (which we both like). Staff were very friendly,... More

A very scruffy guy on reception kept us waiting as he could hardly bring himself to look up from is computer when we arrived. And then was hardly welcoming. Room very small. Bed too small for 2 people. Bathroom door would only open far enough to squeeze in as floor uneven. Nowhere to hang towels. Quiet and good location, but... More

Paris hotels can be stupidly expensive, so it was great to find a hotel that's comparably cheaper and in a really good location. Our room was clean and modern, but small. There are lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby. Check out Le China round the corner if you get a chance - it has two bars (they hold gigs... More

We recently stayed at St Louis Bastille, actually a Best Western affiliate, (located in Oberkampf neighborhood) and found it's location and neighborhood fun, active, good restaurants and bars. Room was more than adequate with queen size bed (a small hotel luxury!), small but very clean but still in European small style. Very easy walking to Metro station (5 minutes) and... More

My partner and I stayed here for one night which was not long enough! The room was small but lovely with a nice view to the central courtyard. The location was perfect for the train to Marseille and being so central it was very quiet. Staff were friendly and spoke basic english which was helpful. I would definitely recommend this... More

A friend and I needed a room for one night with easy access to Gare du Nord and this little hotel fit the bill nicely. It was an oasis after a terrible hotel we stayed in with a tour the night before. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of... More
