I stayed 1 night passing through Paris, in the suite as there were 3 of us. It was clean and comfortable and having two rooms separated by a door was very helpful as my travelling companions were teenagers who wanted to stay up late and chat. The bathroom was nice and spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.... More

The hotel location is not bad, very quiet neighborhood and near the metro station (but to be honest every place in Paris is near the metro). We choose the Able Bastille because it was one of the most affordable, being in Paris for New Year's Eve. The place is not bad, small but cozy, with good furniture and decent rooms.... More

We had a pleasant four night stay at this hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. The staff was courteous, and the breakfast was what we expected. The front desk assisted us in arranging an airport shuttle, which was half the price of a cab. The location was great and we were able to see things in the 11th... More

5 mins walk max to Gare de Lyon and about 8 to Bercy. 5 mins walk to Place de la Bastille which is where we picked up the hop on and off bus. Situated in a quiet side street feet from a more major road this small and recently modernise hotel (nice exposed stone)offers acceptably sized rooms (have seen smaller)... More

This place was all i wanted for a night's stay. The rooms are petite (as are most in Paris) but it was the location that made it easy for me to take a morning train from Gare de Lyon. Just a 10 min walk to the station.

I stayed here with my family over a long weekend, and found the overall experience to be very good. Points to consider: - Location: more 'real' Paris, and is about a 40 min walk to Louvre, etc. We liked this, as many of the local restaurants, etc, were full of locals rather than tourists. Also, 20 min walk to Canal... More

Clean, modern, great breakfasts, Bathrooms great.... water pressure excellent, and staff are busy, but nice. DO NOT USE HOTEL COMPUTER IT IS LOADED WITH VIRUSES. Manager says: "I know, I know...." Beds exceptionally comfortable. Desk/Tv in room. Look, this is Paris. All of the foregoing being true, the rooms are a bit "tight". Shouldn't matter......one goes to gay Paris for... More

My partner and I decided last minute to go to Paris for Easter weekend. After lots of searching for hotels on booking.com I decided on hotel albe bastille due to it's price, the stone work, the reviews and also location and the fact the bathroom had a door as opposed to a curtain (which I saw a lot of in... Small hotel , very cozy and familiar, quiet , very clean and incredibly comfortable beds. Well connected with the center , near the Gare de Lyon (only 7 minutes walk ) and attractions .
