Stayed for 5 nights. Location served us well, given the center of Paris. Hotel staff very nice, and kindly added an extra bed to our room for our daughter to sleep in. Room itself and perhaps the entire hotel could use upgrading. The shower broke after the first night, and had to call maintenance. Promptly fixed the next day. Water... More

Stayed for 6 nights last week- the location is a gem, it is so close to the Palais Royal Station and several streets link up to the hotel (the Palais Garnier can be seen). Overall the hotel is of a high standard. The lobby is rather primitive but warm, reception and concierge friendly and helpful. Staying on the third floor... More

Very good hotel. Excellent central location. 2 minutes from the Louvre and 10-15 minutes from a dozen other Must visit sites. Excellent service. The concierge got us first row tickets for an evening concert. We were upgraded to a king size room, with the jacuzzi / shower overlooking the blvd to the Opera, a most amazing and colorful site both... More

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel, and once again we were not disappointed. It is centrally situated across the road from the Louvre. Numerous restaurants and bars in the vicinity so there is no shortage of choice as to what to eat. Rooms and bathrooms are big for Europe. Breakfast is either a-la-carte or buffet - both offering... We stayed 4 nights at this hotel during our last visit. Overall we were happy with our stay. It has a great location and a room with the view of the famous Museum du Lourve. We had a decent size room for the 3 of us on the second floor. The only flaw is that the bathroom has a long... More

Stayed for 3 nights, hotel is perfectly located, just 2mins from the infamous louvre museum. Easily accessible by metro (palais royal metro station is bordering on the hotel). Let down was the breakfast and in room dining menu. A 5 star hotel with only a minimal choice of food (not expected). The rooms need an uplift (as doors and walls... More

While they called it a suite, it was one large room comfortable for two adults plus one adult son. Overlooking the namesake museum, we could stroll to Notre Dame, De Orsey and fine restaurants. The gym was small but the hotel food was excellent for breakfast and the one dinner we had.

This hotel was stunning. The staff were so helpful and friendly. It is very close to all the amazing things the city has to offer, plus you find some small off the map things heading in other directions.

I stayed 3 days at a beautiful spacious suite on 3rd floor, with windows facing the Louvre and the Antique Galleries. Fantastic location by all means. Wonderful old hotel, with a very little touch of modernity. Scuffed rugs, shabby plush, squeaky stairs, mahogany handrails, polished by thousands of hands. It awakes your imagination. Polite personnel, slow and unobtrusive room service... More

Even though the location is great, I think you could get a better bang for your buck in another hotel around the same location and probably a nicer lobby area. Rooms are outdated and too small unfortunately.
