Lovely property with lots of character. Beautiful roof terrace which unfortunately had no service at this time of year but probably a must do during the summer. Wood panelling in the common parts, character lift etc. Large period room with enormous bathroom & very large comfortable bed. Thought it could've done with a few more furnishings because of its size... More

If you want to stay somewhere and get a more traditional, old world feel to your stay in Paris, then try the Raphael. Rooms are large and wonderfully decorated, service exceptional and there's a lovely bar area. Only real disappointment was the restaurant which seemed to only have one, very basic menu for lunch, dinner and room service (sandwiches, salads... More

The location - close to the Arc, the Champs-Élysées and as well as a lot of the other good hotels (Peninsula, George V etc), so definitely a prestigious location; I'd still go for something closer to the opera next time, or the Marais The hotel - Lois XVI & empire style, well kept but with some patina; a little bit... Raphael hotel in Ave. Kleber Paris is one of the few hotels preserving the previous century's style and architecture, internal design and French spirit, together with the current international comfort ,a guest is looking for. The typical French spirit is found in the friendly staff who are happy to assist and serve with lots of attention, the welcoming breakfast served... More

This palace is was of the most charming hotel in Europe. Very old and chic style and perfect service. Most of the rooms are "Louis XV" style and the bar seems to be built in a place dedicated to horse race. Very quiet without noise, music etc ...Small hotel and great place with high level of service.

The Raphael is a beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming hotel. It does not have the flash and splash of it's next door neighbor, The Peninsula, but that makes it all the more appealing. It is no wonder that this was Audrey Hepburn's hotel of choice in Paris. The rooms and bathrooms are large and well appointed. The amount of closet space... More

Every time I stay in Paris I take a different hotel because I have not yet been totally satisfied with the hotels. This hotel is located in a perfect area very close by the Champs Elysse. When you enter the hotel it is full of grandeur decor which is typical French elegance. We stead in a suite which was huge... More

Great location and as others have pointed out, literally minutes from the Arc and Champs Elysee. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and all lobby speak English. The rooms are really quite large, something you just will not find in many hotels in Paris and very well appointed with traditional furniture and design, like stepping back in history... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th-century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
