A charming old hotel a stone's throw from L'arc de Triomphe, it is worth going just for the service (and breakfasts!). We were upgraded to a suite, and felt like Napolean and Josephine as we enjoyed an exceptionally comfortable bed, elegant furnishings, and the all important free wife.

Very central hotel (close to the Arch of Triumph) with a classical charm that makes you feel very much welcome. The place has that cosy feeling that is still lacking in many upscale hotels, with the friendly staff also helping. Rooms (standard) are what you could expect from a five star hotel but not overwhelming. The hotel has a very... More

Raphael staff goes out of their way to make you enjoy your stay. Impeccable service, and the highlight of this hotel. Terrific room, great turndown service. Only negative is the gym, which is below par - actually there is so little and poor equipment that we were slightly provoked the hotel actually markets the tiny room as a fully fitted... More

We stayed in the Junior suite which was very well decorated and elegant. It is definitely not your box standard hotel room. Very comfortable and clean. Good selection of buffet breakfast. Apparently, there is a fitness room but never ventured into it. Only downside is that I do not think the staff were as friendly as other hotels in other... More

The room is luxury and the people who works at this hotel is really nice and helpful! They surprised me with a birthday cake! I really wanna go here again. Its central and close to the metro or they help you with a taxi within a second!

Stayed at The Raphael for my 40th birthday from Nov 12th-15th 2015 so was there during the Paris attacks - the hotel were brilliant, no climate of fear, help if you needed it and just got on with business although I'm sure staff were all very worried. Lived through 7/7 in London so aware of how this feels - thank... More

I do not know where to begin. I have photos of the rotten fruit in the room, and the poor breakfast-buffet they serve. But the first thing I have to share is how, only a week after 13.11.15, I walked in to the hotel to visit my father who was staying there. As I work at a hotel myself, I... More

We were flying home to Canada from Greece with an extended layover in Paris. As such decided to spend the night in the city, have dinner and just walk about and enjoy the City (have been before). Our driver was waiting for us at the airport and we were promptly escorted to the the Hotel where we were greeted warmly... More

I stayed in few 5 star hotels in Paris and this one so far was the one of the better choices! :) Great location, great service, reasonable breakfast options & great size rooms. Would consider staying here one more time.

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
