Beautiful old hotel, superbly located 2 mins South of the Arc de Triomphe. Great rooms, great facilities, great place to stay (if you can afford it), really friendly staff. And a great roof terrace to capture the views all round the Paris skyline. It would be great if they could provide a proper fridge and a kettle so you can... More

spent 3 nights here during the tour de france. location is fantastic as is the scrumptious breakfast every morning. however our room (415) was very very dated (old bedspreads that must be 20+ years in service) as was the ensuite bathroom. bar menu very expensive (€27 for one glass of champagne!!!!) very nice helpful assistant manager named Vincent and very... My boyfriend surprised me with a short break to Paris staying at Hôtel Raphael for my birthday. Our room had a spacious balcony with a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower which made breakfasts such an enjoyable experience. The hotel staff were attentive and helpful, but not intrusive. Overall, a fantastic and unfogettable experience. Thank you, the Hotel Rafael team.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel just two blocks from the Champs Elysees. It is true that the location of this hotel is wonderful, but the main reason to stay here is to experience the ambiance and beauty of the hotel itself. This is a five star classic hotel, but there is nothing stuffy about it. Families are made to... More

We stayed here for our 23rd wedding anniversary at the end of June for 3 nights. We had a fantastic deluxe suite with a view of the Iffel tower. They apologised for the view when they showed us to our room, but it was a pretty good view in our opinion. Far better than the one we had from the... More

Just a quick walk to the arch de triumph and le Etoille and Champs Elisee I felt totally pampered at this quiet place of Elegance. The Bar downstairs allowed my two small "westies" to relax in this haven of peace where many travelers were planning their next day's plans, as well as International Businessmen and Women meet for important Business... This is a beautiful hotel, ideally located and staffed by the most courteous people. I loved everything about this place. We were walking distance from the arc de triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and Champs-Élysées. And the metro stop was right outside the door. Just a perfect location!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in July. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and we got a really warm welcome. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was stunning with a really comfortable bed and a great bathroom. The breakfast was great and the location couldn't have been better, steps from the Metro and... The Raphael Hotel in Paris is an experience not to be missed. Located just a block from the Arc de Triomphe on the quiet but fashionable Kleber Avenue is a gem. Unlike sleek American chains with abound in Paris, the Raphael is a stately well kept throw back to the past: large (oversized rooms), classical furnishings, attentive service, but with... More

Hotel Raphael felt more like a discreet private club, than a bustling 5-star hotel. The lobby is beautifully decorated, in old-world style, but nothing prepared us for the spectacular junior suite. Attention to detail in the period furnishings, with intricately painting, reminded of a museum; however, the incredible amount of storage space in several imposing armoires, as well waiting fresh... Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
