This is the classic family run Paris hotel. The father looks after reception in the morning and his son takes over in the afternoon I find the prices very good value It is located in the Marais about 70 metres from the St Paul metro. The rooms are clean and comfortable.Mine had a new bathroom. I stayed 4 nights alone... More

This hotel is centrally located in the Le Maraid district of central Paris. It has many great restaurants and cafes located within 5 mins walk and a metro stop is 1 min walk away. The rooms have comfortable beds and flat screen tvs's. There is air conditioning fog the summer months and the bathrooms have large rain showers. The staff... More

Location is perfect in the charming Marais and near the absolute center of Paris. Quiet street with Metro round the corner. Hotel standard is ok, not fantastic. Did not try their breakfast, too many nice places for eating in the area.

This hotel is situated in a great location in the Le Marais area. My friend & I stayed here for 4 nights & it provided us with an ideal base from which to explore Paris. Close to the metro & within easy walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants and cafes it was ideal for our first visit to Paris. Our... More

We stayed for 3 nights after the Easter break. The rooms were good, though not enormous, but with tasteful decor and clean. On the first morning I think they were a member of staff short at breakfast, but even so it was served with a smile. Plenty of eating houses within a short walk and a lovely atmosphere. I'd certainly... More

Situated on a side street, this lovely small hotel is ideal for sightseeing in Paris. About three minutes walk from St. Paul metro, near the bus stop for open top bus tour, surrounded by streets with a wide selection of restaurants, cafe's etc... Our twin room was small, but perfectly adequate. Good comfortable beds, very clean, lovely shower. The room... More

The more times I stay in Paris, the more I realize, I will never really be able to afford a great hotel in this amazing city. The Grand Hotel Malher was solidly decent, but nothing really exciting. --The bedding was clean and nice and the bed was very comfortable. --We upgraded to a room with a bathtub, which I loved... From my experience, this is by far the best 3 star hotel in the Marais, located in a vibrant neighborhood, near the St. Paul Metro Station, and a short walk to the Place de Vosges, the newly opened Picasso museum and numerous fine restaurants, brasseries & bistros and eclectic boutiques. The bed is super comfortable, with fine quality linens. The... More

We really loved this hotel. It was really charming, modern French and in a very gorgeous, clean location. It is a small hotel but it's decor and feel is just divine - good size bathrooms and loved opening the window looking out on the street.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
