Fabulous little hotel tucked away in a perfect location in the Marais. Very close to Rue de Rivoli and Saint-Paul Metro, and right in the thick of wonderful shops, bars and restaurants of the Marais. Many wonderful parts of Paris are walkable. Hotel staff are friendly and warm, and rooms are lovely - recently refurbished bathrooms make this great value... More

This was a wonderful little hotel. The staff was SO SO helpful and we felt totally taken in. They helped us with everything whichI really appreciated as this was the start of our trip. The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. it was quiet and in a GREAT area...easily accessible to all transportation also.

The room was much bigger than expected. We got a corner room and it even had an extra bed. The location is perfect. I feel like this hotel offers a great bang for your buck and would definatly stay here again next time I visit Paris.

My husband and I spent 6 wonderful nights here last week. Great location in the Marais surrounded by many restaurants, and close to Saint-Paul metro station. We were very pleased with the comfort of our room. The staff was great, room was clean, quiet, and just what we needed after long days of sightseeing. We had room 62 on the... More

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff were friendly and were accommodating with check-in and holding our luggage should we need it. It is close to St. Paul metro station on the line 1 which goes by or connects to the major sights. Our room was a bit odd for shower-lovers since there's only a hand-held wand (no pole) and the... Clean and efficient rooms, friendly service and a convenient location, Hotel Jeanne D'Arc is a great choice for tourists looking for a good value. Service is friendly and the rooms are relatively quiet given the active neighborhood. Plenty of dining and bar options nearby the hotel as well.

This 2 star hotel in Le Marais is extremely popular. Great location for a reasonable price in Paris. St Paul metro stop is a few minutes walk, great cafes and bistros all around plus laundry, supermarket and boulangeries-pâtisseries. I've stayed here a couple of times and find it very convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful, and speak English too.

This was our second stay at the Hotel Jeanne D'Arc. The staff are very helpful, it's very reasonably priced, there is a laundry around the corner and the hotel is well located. Both bus and train are close. This hotel has local character and we'll be staying again.

The location was quite convenient to public transportation, restaurants, main shopping, and banking streets. It took 45 minutes from de Gaulle International to get there. Room was noisy from outside sources (I believe it was noise from restaurants throwing their garbage into large metal bins at the end of the evening) until just about midnight. My room was sparse, but... More

We have stayed in about 6 hotels in the Marais over the last 15 years, always trying to find the perfect one and while they're all good, each was wanting in some respect. Now we think we have found what we've been looking for. We had a spacious double room overlooking Rue Jarente and with the window closed there is... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
