I stayed here with family and friends for 5 nights in Paris and we loved it. Every detail of the stay was smooth, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a classic French style. Metro stop close by as well as countless cafés and high end shops. We will be back!

We stayed here around 15 years ago. Wonderful hotel - huge attention to detail in everything they do. We opted for the classic room - a bit on the small side but very well appointed. Exceptionally friendly staff and nothing too much trouble for them. The location is ideal - very quiet in the immediate surroundings by 5 mins from... More

The service here is wonderful. They will do anything to make your stay comfortable. The location is so convenient and the rooms are like a home away from home. We had the court yard view and it was so nice to look out to. The added touch of high end toiletries was such a nice touch.

We just stayed at the Hotel de l'Abbaye. We stayed in the classic room which is the cheapest option. The room and bed is much smaller than what we were used to although it was still very comfortable. There is a cupboard that you don't see in the hotel photo that was great for storing luggage. The big thing with... More

Hotel de l'Abbaye was everything it claimed to be. A deliciously comfortable home away from home. Friendly staff attendee to our every need. The lounge areas and courtyard provided a peaceful haven to relax and recharge.

We travel to Paris regularly (my partner more than I) and we stay in this hotel every time. Like most hotels in the centre of Paris, its a small boutique hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. But why do we chose this hotel over all the others? Simply....because of the amazing staff. They are so friendly and will go above... More

Beautiful hotel and the service is outstanding. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. We had the duplex apartment and had breakfast on the balcony everyday. The staff could not have been more helpful in answering our questions and there recommendations were excellent.

The service is not like your regular hotel. This service is very personal, the hotel is tucked away on a quiet street in St. Germaine. I was in a deluxe room, very nicely appointed. The turn down service is old world! Down stairs they have a glass enclosed atrium which you can have breakfast in the morning. Cocktails are brought... More

Absolutely perfect! I've stayed at the best in Paris, big and small and this is my new favorite. So incredibly well maintained beautiful small hotel. Very, very quiet with exceptional staff. Rooms are beautifully decorated, all different with lovely curtains, linens, beds and all amenities. Very accessible to metro and other sports. Yet, very private. Breakfast in the glass atrium... This pretty hotel in Paris is charming! Comfortable and close to public transport, it is quiet and luxurious. Our room was small but extremely clean, elegant and restful after a day of sightseeing. The personnel was bilingual and helpful. The continental breakfast included in our package may be a bit disappointing for some, it consisted of a basket of delicious... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
