Absolutely perfect! I've stayed at the best in Paris, big and small and this is my new favorite. So incredibly well maintained beautiful small hotel. Very, very quiet with exceptional staff. Rooms are beautifully decorated, all different with lovely curtains, linens, beds and all amenities. Very accessible to metro and other sports. Yet, very private. Breakfast in the glass atrium... This pretty hotel in Paris is charming! Comfortable and close to public transport, it is quiet and luxurious. Our room was small but extremely clean, elegant and restful after a day of sightseeing. The personnel was bilingual and helpful. The continental breakfast included in our package may be a bit disappointing for some, it consisted of a basket of delicious... More

Really a fantastic experience in every way. Service was above and beyond. The hotel was beautifully designed and it has a lovely courtyard in the back that's the perfect spot to have a cafe and read the paper. The location is on a quiet, beautiful street in St. Germain with lots of shops and cafes within walking distance. Its also... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights Originally from 3rd to the 9th of June 2015, we had a wonderful time and the hotel was small but really cosy, lovely to sit outside for breakfast, what I most mentined is how the staff looked after my wife when I became ill breify on the night of... We had a junior suite on the ground floor. The sitting room overlooked the garden which was nice, but we had to close the blinds during cocktail hour because the garden is a popular local cocktail spot. Bathroom was small but immaculately fitted out. Bar and lounge areas were very comfortable. Concierge was helpful (and effective) in getting dinner reservations.... More

Size, location, staff, rooms, ambiance--in every way. Other than the 103F summer heat and a limited room service menu, this place met our needs and provided a great island of luxury and peace in Saint-Germain.

The hotel is a converted Abbey, so many of the rooms are different sizes. We were in room 44. It had a small sitting room and pleasant bedroom and bath. There was a skylight in the sitting that had shutters you could control. Cool! Friendly staff, nice breakfasts. Very well located in Saint Germaine. Easy walk to the river, museums,... More

The style of this hotel and the decor are absolutely my cup of tea. It was beautiful , quiet, comfortable, friendly and had great character. The service was excellent with the minor exception of a fellow at the front desk who didn't know much, but the others were helpful and fun to talk to. They even got us tickets way... More

We just returned from a four day stay at the Hotel (our second visit) and the Hotel is as lovely as we remembered it from our visit five years ago. The staff is attentive, extremely helpful and friendly. The location is excellent. The rear garden is magical where one can dine all day. The rooms are small but charming. We... More

We booked two classic rooms for 3 nights in July and highly recommend this hotel. The email communication prior to our visit while making arrangements and confirmations was excellent. We felt very welcome in this hotel despite our tired looking crew. The service from the front desk and housekeeping was remarkable! We enjoyed the quiet street and proximity to Luxembourg... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
