This was a last minute booking and we were unsure of what to expect, but not disappointed. Helpful friendly staff and the best location for shopping and metro.. Rooms small as are most in Paris, but clean, quiet and comfortable.

Le Saint Gregoire is a pleasant hotel located in a convenient and good neighborhood. The concierge working during the day was very nice and helpful, she even allowed us to change our booking on the spot. We stayed for one night then the next day we had to leave Paris to visit one of our friends. Because our flight was... More

Stayed here for two days and the overall experience was "Average". The hotel is very much in the heart of Paris. But if you are foreigner like me landing in Charle De Gaulle airport, then the cheapest way to reach the hotel is to take the metro till Saint Michael Station. From there you can take a taxi for less... More

Hôtel Le Saint-Grégoire is a nice boutique style hotel , as you enter it has a nice home like feeling to it with a fire lace in the waiting area and decorated as a fine waiting room with many antique features. the room was comfortable and spacious again with antique style finishing. We did not have breakfast in the cellar... More

Staying here is definitely an experience. As soon as you step in you are transported to another world. The location is pretty good. I got a good deal on it, but if I paid full price I would be disappointed, because it was a little dusty and lacked some basic amenities like ear buds and body lotion.

Reasonably priced, good location, very friendly staff. Room was average in size, but pleasant and completely serviceable. I'd say they are at the correct price point. Room on the street was quiet with the windows closed; a bit noisy with the windows open, but you're in the city!

We found this hotel to be clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The location is also pretty good. If I could rate it, I would give it three and a half stars rather than 4, one reason being that our WC was separate to the bathroom within our bedroom that was a tad cumbersome at night. The... Stayed here in May 2014. Cannot speak too highly of the service, charm and location of this very quiet hotel. The concierge Francois could not do enough to help me. I recommend room 16 with its own terrace facing the courtyard. Breakfast for 15 Euros offered freshly squeezed orange juice, cereal, yoghurt, really good coffee and eggs if you want... More

Stayed here in May last year with my husband - i really wanted to stay somewhere typically parisian as opposed to a large generic hotel and i was not disappointed. Our room was very charming if a bit on the small side but had a lovely little balcony over looking the street below. its in the 6th arrondissement and has... More

We selected this hotel based on its web site and location. It turned out to be a really good choice. Staff were friendly and helpful, accommodation was comfortable and clean. There are many bistros and restaurants in the area.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
