The location is fantastic, the staff extremely nice, the beds comfortable. It may be a biut noisy in rooms facing the street, but after the first night we moved to a room facing the court yard and slept like logs. The rooms are very small, so they are not for spending much time in.

Dear Ollestrom, First of all thank you for taking the time to leave a little note about your recent stay at hotel Bourg Tibourg. It is true that we are very lucky to be located so centrally, and even more in the Marais, one of the most charming neighborhoods, which invites you to explore the authentic Parisian lifestyle. Since we... More

If you want to immerse yourself into Paris arts, culture and cafe lifestyle then Hotel Bourg Tibourg in Le Marias is in the perfect location. I loved the lush French interior decor, quaintness and location. Yes, the hotel is small and the rooms are small but this is typical of hotels in Paris (other than the big, international chain hotels).... More

I believe that our most recent visit to Hôtel Bourg Tibourg marks our 7th stay to this wonderful jewel of a hotel, discreetly hidden in the Marais. Each year we spend 10 days of our Christmas holiday here. We book the small suite on the 6th floor, and the cost is equal to a standard room at a larger hotel.... More

We stayed here as a family for 4 nights and yes the rooms are small and you hear some street noise but what an unbelievable service and the staff is very friendly. They gave us 3 restaurant recommendations and all 3 were absolutely amazing experiences. Last but not least the location is great and I am sure that during our... More

I was going to Paris for a short business trip and stayed at this hotel for one night. In fact I was realocated from another hotel to this one. The single-bed room (200 euros) was tiny but very nice with a very comfrotable bed, a heating system easy to manage, and avery clean restroom and bathroom. Unfortuantely, I was not... More

Great location in the 4th on a pleasant Parisian street. The rooms are as tiny as any in Paris -- although you could walk to both sides of the bed in ours. We had room 12 which has a little private balcony; would be very sweet in the Spring. You have to step up and out the window to get... More

This hotel is a true gem. Every single staff member acted like I was their favorite guest ever! Paris tends to have small hotel rooms in the older quarters and Bourg Tibourg is no exception. What makes this such a wonderful jewel is the great care to scaling everything to a size where you are comfortable but not over or underwhelmed by the size of object be it sink, bed, or tub. Night "tables" as nooks by the... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
