Very good hotel but for the price my boyfriend could have bought me a car. Nice treat for my 30th Birthday. Rooms were excellent but service was a little cold but its France. Paris is the home of love but in the films sitting in a restaurant alone looks romantic, not so much in real life. more

We stayed 6 nights for our 10 year wedding anniversary in a deluxe room (865 euro per night). We had a very generous sized room with king bed, walk in wardrobe and a spacious bathroom. There was also a very comfortable armchair and a writing desk setting. Champagne and sweets were in our room on arrival, which was fantastic after... more

First let me start by saying you should expect very high prices for a five star hotel in Paris. If you can get by the very high price then definitely stay here. The attention to detail is very sharp and the staff is some of the best I have ever encountered. Nothing is out of reach and they will take... more

Ive travelled quite a bit in 5* hotels around the world - George V is in my opinion one of the best out there. First time I ever set foot there was on business, I arrived at 10pm on Thursday night, went straight to my room. At 7am on the following morning, in the elevator on my down to breakfast,... more

Positives: Clearly, the Four Seasons George V is among the finest hotels in the world. The hotel is in a wonderful location near the Champs-Elysees, and clearly caters to English-speaking travelers. The decor is extremely elegant -- beautiful flower arrangements, extravagant furniture, and lovely architectural details are abundant. Staff members were polite and very smiley. When we complained of drilling... more

This is a beautiful hotel with great service, so I do think it deserves a five star rating. I had read so many great reviews of the hotel, that maybe I was setting myself up for disappointment!! I was looking for the ultimate Paris hotel experience, but I'm not sure if I got it. I would definitely stay here again,... more

Incredibly beautiful floral displays everywhere, lovely, friendly, smart, helpful staff, a wonderful scent of Bulgari in the air, gorgeous jacuzzi in the spa, complimentary champagne and birthday cakes in our rooms .... I could go on and on. I actually wanted to cry when we left, I have stayed in several five star hotels around the world, but this topped... more

We just returned from a 2 night visit to the Georges V to celebrate a special wedding anniversary. This hotel is amazing - down to the last detail, you really do get what you pay for. We booked the hotel's car service from the airport and were met by friendly uniformed staff off the plane and escorted to our car.... more

Great Four Seasons service, good kid programs, excellent baby sitting service--ask for Agnes Berdugo--main problem is the location--not readily accessible to many tourist sites--closest bus and metro is up on Champs Elysees--which becomes your main source of nearby restaurants and shopping--not my fave part of town. Not really close to parks. Overall however, very plush rooms--we had a two bedroom... more
