We have just returned from a four night stay here and would very happily return. If you are into sleek minimalism then this is not the hotel for you but we loved its charm and all the antiques typical of the period when Beaumarchais (author of The Marriage of Figaro) lived in this street. The walls are hung with fabric... More

A wonderfully personal hotel which is small and tucked away. The staff we very helpful and pleasant. The room i stayed in was not large but it was great in every respect. The breakfast was good and there was more than i could eat. I would happily recommend this place to couples and singletons. I was on my own as... More

Dear Sir, You are wrong. All our rooms are double and should not welcome 3, 4 persons.... We have only 3 rooms per floor and we frequently have families and the occupancy on 2 or 3 rooms, rooms double bed or 2 single beds. My best regards, Alain Bigeard, owner More

Well placed in the Marais. Easy access to Metro. Excellent well experienced hotel manager with faultless English. Beautifully appointed, and filled with lovely antique furnishings relating to the Beaumarchais period. Pleasant homely atmosphere.

We stayed here last week for 4 nights in 2 rooms. The rooms were small but perfectly comfortable. It's Paris...small is normal especially in the Marais. We got a balcony but didn't use it. There is a largish bathroom with full bathtub which is great at the end of the day. We tried their breakfast which is excellent too for... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for just two nights after christmas. I have never written a review before and the amazing experience at this hotel made me want to tell others. The hotel is in a perfect location right in the Marais district, a 10 minute walk from the Seine and Notre Dame. There are lots of boutique shops,... More

We started our European honeymoon with 3 nights in this gorgeous hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was gorgeous and they even went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. I would definitely recommend this lovely, cosy hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 days over Christmas and we loved it. This was our first time to Paris and all of the staff were very helpful and all spoke English. Hotel is lovely and decor is charming, we especially loved the fresh flowers and chocolate elf left in the room on Christmas, very nice touch. Free... More

This is a small gem that is simply lovely. In the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the Marais is this tiny oasis of comfort and great service. The front desk staff could not have been more helpful from making dinner reservations, suggestions for rental car return, and to going out of their way to make calls necessary... More

What a charming boutique hotel in the middle of the Marais, run by an owner for whom this is a labor of love, who leaves no detail unattended -- who truly understands the needs of his guests! Our family stayed for five nights in two rooms; one on the front side, the other on the rear side. The rooms were... More

I selected the hotel from Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint. Very convenient to the shops and sites in the Marais and to the Seine, Caron de Beaumarchais is a sophisticated small hotel with a gracious staff. I was a guest for three nights. Etienne was particularly helpful to this solo traveler by making dinner reservations and arranging transportation... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
