We loved this hotel. It's beautifully located set back a little way from the Place des Vosges (a gem!) in the Marais district of Paris. This area is charming with loads of interesting shops, nice restaurants, museums etc. The hotel itself is splendid - luxurious, quite small, charming staff - it has it all. For us too it's the best... More

Having stayed in a number of Paris hotels over the years, we have finally ended our search for the place to stay. Wow! Absolutely fantastic in so many aspects. Stunning location in the Marais, located off the delightful square. One of the quietest city hotels that we have ever stayed in, no noise or disturbance at all. We upgraded to... More

Smallish rooms- even relative to other paris hotels. Rooms on alley noisy. Upgrade to a junior suite. Definitely worth it. Avoid rooms with dormers. Room service me u small but good. And, as stated, this hotel staff cares. That is a remarkable and noteworthy fact anywhere, but especially in paris. Whoever is behind thst, nice work!

Well worth the splurge for a very gracious accommodation. Public rooms are spacious, well appointed, and breakfast is served on tables with white table cloths in the library. Rudy, one of the concierges, is particularly friendly, helpful, goes out of way, and is a true professional. Room 90 is a lovely junior suite on the 4 th floor, like having... More

This quiet cozy hotel located in the heart of the Marais is a wonderful, comforting, cocoon in one of the funnest most bustling areas in Paris. The service was impeccable ( and i mean impeccable) they were so accommodating, welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts are served in a cozy library, its calm and peaceful and a great start to the... I stayed there for a week with a friend and frankly, neither one of us want to stay anywhere else in the future. Where to start, the location could not be better. No matter what direction you walk in, there is the best shopping, museums, restaurants. The staff could do no wrong and nothing was too much to ask. We... More

I keep coming back to this hotel, a lovely quiet refuge in the heart of the Marais. Your taxi drops you off in the cloistered Place des Vosges - full of art galleries and restaurants. Walk through the arch and the Pavillon confronts you. There is a large villa or country house feel about it. - The garden entrance leads... More

The staff is incredible and offer to your every need. The rooms are spacious, extreme to detail, and the breakfast is absolutely perfect. Having stayed here many times I would highly recommend. The location is perfect for shopping and located on a beautiful park/place. Jérémie is exceptional and the rest of the concierge staff could not be better. I have... More

This beautifully appointed gem of a hotel just off the Place de Vosges is my favourite hotel of all. Tucked away with a gently character and charm it exudes elegance without being pretentious. The staff are amazing and nothing is a problem for them. There is a downstairs sauna and spa and it has a lift. Breakfast is simple yet... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
