We arrived in Paris at 8:00 AM, wiped out from our flight, and took a taxi directly to the hotel (about 25 euros). We knew, of course, that we would not be able to check into our room until the afternoon, but the desk staff went out of their way to accomodate us. We were given robes and ushered to... More

My wife and I and 5 other family members were so fortunate to have stayed at this wonderful hotel for 8 days in May. After a day of hectic sight seeing, we all looked forward to returning to this peaceful place to relax and talk about our experiences. The lobby area (not fair to refer to this area as a... More

beautiful hotel !! Service was amazing Would recommend to anyone visiting Paris. I am not big city fan but this quiet little hotel with its beautiful courtyard made my stay in Paris feel cozy!! I have never been in a hotel ANYWHERE where the staff worked so hard to please guests!!

Very nice small boutique hotel in wonderful spot. close to everything and tucked away from he busy streets. Nice spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. Ask for room facing the courtyard for best view. Breakfast in the morning in very nice and prepared nicely. Great gym, sauna and hot tub. Very nice place to start and end your day while in... More

This hotel was beautiful, don't get me wrong, it just wasn't really suitable for my stay. I stayed for 3 nights on business. The room (superior) I stayed in was very small which wasn't a huge problem for me as I was only there to sleep, but if I hadn't have been working 15 hour days I wouldn't have been... More

Located right on the Place des Vosges, Le Pavillion de la Reine is a real gem in the Marais. From the arcade surrounding the Place des Vosges, one enters through a stone gate into beautiful little courtyard in front of the hotel where guests take their leisure throughout the day. The hotel has vines clinging to its grand facade and... More

The hotel was fantastic. Loved the decor and style of the hotel. It is a small hotel, so it is very intimate. the spa is really nice and has a great little hot tub. Perfect after a long day of work. Everyone spoke English, which was nice. The bellmen and the front desk were very polite, and helpful. Breakfast was... More

Without question the best location in Paris - right on Place des Vosges in the Marais. An incredible place to walk into at the end of a spectacular day in Paris. The feeling is light, sophisticated and friendly - even the pics do not do it justice. Service is impeccable striking the right balance between being attentive without being overbearing.... More

I had an amazing experience at the Pavillon de la Reine! The rooms were gorgeous, as was the hotel, and the location was ideal. The hotel is nestled in the picturesque and centrally located Marais district of Paris; just close enough to the center of tourist sites to be accessible and just far enough away to provide peace in the... Just perfect. In every way. Location, Staff, off the Place des Vosges, they offered me an upgrade which I declined as it was a duplex -- and I loved the simple perfect room facing the back - not a view hotel, but perfect - everything excellent and first class and clean. Also noticed that there was a door between the... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
