I keep coming back to this hotel, a lovely quiet refuge in the heart of the Marais. Your taxi drops you off in the cloistered Place des Vosges - full of art galleries and restaurants. Walk through the arch and the Pavillon confronts you. There is a large villa or country house feel about it. - The garden entrance leads... More

The staff is incredible and offer to your every need. The rooms are spacious, extreme to detail, and the breakfast is absolutely perfect. Having stayed here many times I would highly recommend. The location is perfect for shopping and located on a beautiful park/place. Jérémie is exceptional and the rest of the concierge staff could not be better. I have... More

This beautifully appointed gem of a hotel just off the Place de Vosges is my favourite hotel of all. Tucked away with a gently character and charm it exudes elegance without being pretentious. The staff are amazing and nothing is a problem for them. There is a downstairs sauna and spa and it has a lift. Breakfast is simple yet... More

Placed in the Place des Vosges, one of the nicest spots in Paris, in the district of Le Marais. Nice hotel, quiet and very intimate, rooms on the small side and dark (maybe because it is winter). Comfortable beds. The heating in our bedroom was not very hot so we were a bit cold, but the rest is nice. Loved... More

"Le Pavillon" is a beautiful boutique hotel tucked away in Place des Vosges in the Marais. Every room is different, with its own character and charm, but each has a wonderfully cosy vibe (I've stayed in several). I would recommend staying on higher floors for more of a view (there is an elevator) and have at least one window facing... More

My family's fifth visit to Pavillon de la Reine was as superb as the first four. We visit each December during the holidays and would not consider staying anywhere else. The location is perfect- on the breathtaking Place des Vosges in the heart of the Marais. The service is flawless- polite- helpful- kind. The rooms and common spaces are dramatic,... More

First visit to Paris for my husband and I. After arriving early in the morning, we were pleasantly surprised they had a room ready for us within 10 minutes and we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite. The service was very friendly and attentive. Absolutely no complaints. They did a very good job. The one bedroom we stayed in... More

We stayed at Pavillon de la Reine for the second time for the weekend before Christmas. The hotel was decorated for the holiday season is a very attractive way, particularly the outside lights. The location right on the Place des Vosges couldn't be any better to explore what is surely the loveliest area of Paris. Our room (#31) was a... More

We spent the perfect weekend here with our 1 year old in a Junior Suite. The sitting area / honesty bar has a very warm, relaxed feel to it and we made use of room service many times. The location is simply perfect too for exploring Paris by foot. Great service - we will be back for sure. We have... More

Location is great: a 5-minute walk from Chemin Vert subway station (a bit more, but easily doable, from Saint Paul station in the more useful yellow line) and across Place des Vosges. Good starting point to explore the Marais! Friendly staff was a plus. My room was huge when compared to other Parisian hotels I've stayed in the past and... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
