This is an amazing hotel. It is just as romantic and tranquil as the pictures suggest. Its location is as great as it the map implies. The staff are fantastic: courteous, professional and for me they really went over and above the normal call of duty, which I really appreciated. I stayed at this hotel 15-17 August 2014 as part... Situated right on the Place des Vosges in the wonderful Marais district, this charming old hotel is our favorite place to stay in Paris. Rooms, however, vary in quality, so if you can't figure out before you book what room you want, if there's more than one room available you should definitely ask management to take you on a tour.... If you want to treat yourself in Paris, this is the place to do it! Pricey, yes, but well worth with it! It's beautifully decorated, quiet and in the heart of the Marais. Its extremely clean, spacious and the staff is incredibly accomodating and professional. We loved it!!

The location is great, the common areas are really nice and the service is good but room 72 really was a disappointment - bland, tiny windows not a picture on the walls - and still 500 euros.Apparently the hotel is busy but this is not good value for an indifferent room in a 4 star hotel

Dear Densworth, I am sorry you did not enjoy your room, we have 54 rooms which are all decorated differntly. If at check in a guest does not like a room we always try to change to a room they like, I am sorry we did not have this oppurtunity for you. Your remark about no picture on the wall... More

We enjoyed a few days at this well located, attractive hotel where the staff were friendly and helpful and the communal areas, comfortable and inviting. Disappointingly, however, for a hotel of this standard, the only two English language channels, CNN and BBC, were visually poor. We were told that this is the same throughout all the guestrooms. Although, as one... More

My wife, son and I stayed for 5 nights in a suite. It was very comfortable for the three of us. We had stayed at this hotel about 16 years prior to this visit and had very fond memories of it. This trip showed the memories to be real. We had another great stay. From the concierges and their restaurant... More

In our trips to Paris we have stayed at 5 star hotels (such as George V) and at some mid-range hotels on Ile St. Louis and the Left Bank, so we tried Pavillon de la Reine as an intermediate. We will be back because it is a very nice compromise between cheaper but cramped lesser hotels, and opulent 5 star... More

My husband and I couldn't be happier with our week at this enchanting, marvellously located hotel with its enveloping interiors and efficient and attentive staff. We will return to this Marais jewel with its quiet leafy oasis of a courtyard and phenomenal breakfasts..... and sooner rather than later!

In Paris for our 25th wedding anniversary. We've visted the city 10+ times including our first date and subsequent honeymoon. This was, without doubt, the best place we've stayed. Superb location in the Place des Vosges but very quiet. We walked everywhere - 10 mins to Bastille, 15 mins to Notre Dame, 20 mins to Louvre, 25 mins to Louvre.... More

This boutique hotel was recommended by a local and I am so happy I chose it over Hotel Costes. Pavillon De La Reine is in the Place des Voges, near the Marais district. Fantastic restaurants and shopping nearby, as well as hip art galleries, all within walking distance. The hotel service is excellent, and the breakfast downstairs is a wonderful,... More
