understated elegance just off the place des vosges in a restored 17th century mansion. Chic rooms, and new gym, hot tub and co-ed hammam more

This hotel is as charming and friendly as any. The Place de Vosges is such a wonderful square and to be right on it is like living in your own hôtel particulier in the midst of nobility - seriously (almost). My room was a little small - this is a very old area of the City - but well designed... more

We went to Paris for a birthday celebration, and checked into this hotel offering an August discount, which included breakfast. This hotel is beautifully situated off the Place de Vogues in the Marais, and we had a room on the top floor. No serious complaints at all. Hotel rooms in Paris are traditionally small, but our room was reasonable in... more

My wife and I just spent 17 days travelling around Europe and this was the pick of all the hotels we stayed in. The rooms are full of character and clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is small, I think about 50 rooms and has a cozy feel. We loved the location of Le Marais, it... more

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite 6/10-6/14 celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The entire staff could not have been more accommodating. The concierge staff was extremely helpful in arranging multiple dinner reservations and a personal tour guide. The suite was great. My only complaint is that the furniture in the living room was made for individuals of 17thC stature.... more

My wife and I stayed four nights at the Pavillon de la Reine at the beginning of August. We had booked a 'Summer Smart' special rate, and then were delighted to get an upgrade from a superior room to a duplex. The hotel looks splendid from the outside and the public areas inside are beautifully furnished and comfortable. The staff... more

Based on my experience of two recent stays, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, particularly for a large city. It is extremely quiet and has a restrained and luxurious quality about it, which I found refreshing after a number of recent stays in 'design hotels'. It is extremely well located for the Marais and... more

Wetayed here as part of our honeymoon last year. Hotel and staff are great. It's quite expensive but good if you're looking for a treat. It's in a stunning wee square and not far from loads to do. Will definitiely go back...once we've saved up a few bob! more

I stayed 7 nights at the Pavillon de la Reine in June, 2009. I first stayed there a year ago and since then the rooms and common areas have been completely renovated to a high quality. Breakfast is now served on the main floor on either side of the entrance and this is much more pleasant than in the previous... more
