Our family came back to Le Pavillon de la Reine for the second year in a row, and once again had an amazing stay. The staff are very friendly and polite, the hotel rooms are beautifully decorated and managed. It is in a prime location in the beautiful Marais. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and feels very 'Parisian.' I can't... More

The Place des Vosges address is the first indication of the quality of this magnificent hotel. Step through the private entry way onto the terrace and the glass doors entreat you to enter this paradise. The desk attendants are always smiling and that's because they company owners take excellent care of them -- they in turn take excellent care of... More

From Location, to service, cleanliness, rooms quality, atmosphere all was good. I had chosen this hotel for 2 reasons, its location and its parking right in the middle of Paris. Obviously I was looking for a certain category of hotel, not just a bed in a room. I was really pleased to discover this small chic hotel. It made me... More

Loved this hotel in a quaint courtyard. We were upgraded to a junior suite that was lovely. The staff was very helpful. Enjoyed coffee and cocktails in the lobby bar/lounge. Small quiet hotel just off the Place des Vosges. Beautiful view of the courtyard.

Obviously plush, chic and discreet, the hotel is the perfect place to stay and visit the exciting shops and museums in Le Marais. The staff are really cool and friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Breakfast is crazily expensive, but there are loads of great places to eat on the Place des Vosges. Allez-vous en!

Location is quite splendid and set back from the busy Place des Voges Staff extremely professional, helpful and friendly. In particular Nadia at reception was the perfect representative. Accommodation of a high standard and service impeccable. We had only one problem and that was due to an ill fitting bath metal tray falling into the bath and injuring my wife's... More

I have been staying here for over 25 years and recommend it to friends and it is used by my colleagues at work-it is in the beautiful place des Vosges and is quiet with usually good service. I was for the first time disappointed to be charged for drinks I had not taken from the "honesty bar" having filled in... More

We booked a double room deluxe. What we were given was a very ordinary room spilt over two stories with the bedroom one level above the bathroom. Not a great idea if you have to get up in the night. The walls must be paper thin because the noise from three sides made our visit quite unpleasant. The room was... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
