My wife & I spent 8 nights at this lovely little hotel. Usually we stay a few blocks away at the 'Grand Dame' of the Left Bank, l'Hotel Lutetia, but it's closed for 3 years for a complete overhaul (and installation of a piscine). This place is tiny by comparison, but even more convenient for those of us who like... More

I was referred to the Hotel Duc de Saint Simon several years ago by a friend. I often find that it can be difficult to take these recommendations because we all have different tastes and expectations. However, this was the best referral I have ever had in this regard. The Saint Simon is a quaint (in the best sense of... More

Stayed here for several nights. Was actually here about twenty years ago as well. Very cozy, elegant, homey hotel tucked behind the Rue du Bac corner. We had a suite which means one bedroom and then a living room. It was very comfortable for the two of us. Service was very nice and the reception was helpful with all of... More

For our first trip to Paris we did a lot of searching for a hotel on trip advisor and eventually chose Hotel Duc de Saint Simon. It is perfect! For our 6 nights in October we could not have been happier. Very charming, very clean, very comfortable and very friendly. The hotel and the rooms are small but beautifully decorated... More

Over the years, we have stayed in many great and good hotels in Paris...the Duc de Saint Simon is definitely our new favourite. Located on a quiet side street in the heart of St. Germain, this smaller hotel has beautifully appointed rooms with modern bathroom, very comfortable beds, a quiet HVAC system, and high quality amenities. Would highly recommend a... More

Stayed 4 nights in August. The hotel is wonderful in the perfect location of Paris. Rooms are small and beautifully furnished and comfortable. Bathroom very nice. Staff extremely professional and accommodating with excellent suggestions for restaurants in the area. Frequent traveller to Paris and former resident -- won't stay anywhere else in the future.

We had a romantic long weekend in Paris in mid september. This little hotel gave us a very good experience; good standard, extremely quiet and yet very central in St Germain. The staff was very friendly and eager to meet our requests. We really enjoyed our stay and will love to come back.

This cosy boutique hotel is well situated in a quiet side street close to Boulevard Saint Germain and the Rue De Bac Metro station. It is within walking distance of the Musee D'Orsay, Les Invalides and Rue Cler where you find lots of good quality and good value eateries and a laundrette close by. There are many restaurants in the... More

Upon arriving we were given the best customer service. The hotel is beautiful even though small. The entire staff was very accomodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. It's in a perfect location near all of the main Paris attractions.

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
