I stayed in this small hotel for business for only one night. I was pleasantly stricken by the the small scale but professional atmosphere. Very charming and classy interiors. Breakfast clearly above normal French standards

Tucked away behind large doors and centered around a courtyard, this charming hotel offers peace and quiet and an excellent location in one of the city's most fashionable and alluring arrondissements. I liked the excellent personal service from the staff. Compact bedrooms with well appointed bathrooms are individually decorated in the French bourgeois style that is so compatible with this... I was in Paris for a conference and wanted a hotel on the M12 line. This hotel was was perfectly located - a 3 minute walk to the Rue du Bac Metro station. The hotel has a lovely flowery decor with a cut breakfast area in the basement. The rooms are tiny, but this is typical of Parisian hotels, and... More

We've been staying at the Duc de St. Simon for over 20 years, but had not been at the hotel for almost two years. Since our last stay it appears that the hotel has been purchased and is now part of a small chain of Paris hotels. Change like this always frightens me, but I'm pleased to report that while... More

Nicely located calm hotel. Breakfast / dinner venue in basement, which is quite cool and gives a nice touch to it. Rooms fairly dated and not anymore in sync w 4-star ranking. Staff very friendly and helpfull.

My wife & I spent 8 nights at this lovely little hotel. Usually we stay a few blocks away at the 'Grand Dame' of the Left Bank, l'Hotel Lutetia, but it's closed for 3 years for a complete overhaul (and installation of a piscine). This place is tiny by comparison, but even more convenient for those of us who like... More

I was referred to the Hotel Duc de Saint Simon several years ago by a friend. I often find that it can be difficult to take these recommendations because we all have different tastes and expectations. However, this was the best referral I have ever had in this regard. The Saint Simon is a quaint (in the best sense of... More

Stayed here for several nights. Was actually here about twenty years ago as well. Very cozy, elegant, homey hotel tucked behind the Rue du Bac corner. We had a suite which means one bedroom and then a living room. It was very comfortable for the two of us. Service was very nice and the reception was helpful with all of... More

For our first trip to Paris we did a lot of searching for a hotel on trip advisor and eventually chose Hotel Duc de Saint Simon. It is perfect! For our 6 nights in October we could not have been happier. Very charming, very clean, very comfortable and very friendly. The hotel and the rooms are small but beautifully decorated... More

Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
