Traveling to Paris through Charles de Gaulle followed by the guide-book recommended RER train and a stint on the metro can leave any one -- including those well traveled -- well worn. Yet upon entry to the cobble-stoned courtyard of the Hotel Duc de Saint Simon, calm settles the soul. RECEPTION Gracious attendants greet visitors with "Bonjour" and "Hello" as... More

Wonderful experience, very kind, helpful and friendly staff. Nicely situated, very quiet and peacefully situated on a quaint little street.. very easy walks to most everything. My room was very comfortable.. like a cozy cocoon. Would definitely stay again.

Duc de Saint Simon is a cozy boutique hotel located in the heart of the Saint-Germain des Près and it seems that the denominator for many boutique hotels are small rooms and this is also the case for the rooms at Saint Simon. Small rooms does not necessarily constitute a problem, however my wife and I stayed in a suite,... More

My husband and I enjoyed four days in Paris recently. This hotel and its staff are a big part of what made the trip special. The room and furnishings were authentic French provincial; yet the bed and bathroom were comfy and contemporary. The staff, especially Alban and Clementine, offered superb service by recommending excellent restaurants and helping me to arrange... More

The hotel is on a very quiet street that is well located near the Rue du Bac and its Metro and Velib bikeshare stations. There are interesting cafes and two excellent patisseries (Patisserie des Reves and Des Gateaux et du Pain) within a couple of blocks, so we never tried breakfast at the hotel. Everyone we dealt with was polite,... More

This is my favorite small hotel. I travel alone and am so happy here. Excellent guest services, helpful information. Rooms are o.n the small size, but still very comfortable. Excellent experience here. Return 3 times

Great hotel located one block from the main street (St. Germain) in Paris. As far as location and price, this hotel takes the cake. I would suggest walking from the hotel to many of the nearby eateries and cafes - things tend to be more inexpensive this way. This hotel has a interesting antique decor but don't expect a huge... Not far from St-Germain-des-Prés, and located in a very nice area of Paris, 5 minutes by foot from the Seine river, this beautiful hotel is the archetype of a boutique accommodation. All rooms are different, and although they are rather small, they are all charming. While not convenient if you have a lot of luggage, this is an ideal place... More

We always stay in the Duc de Saint-Simon when it Paris. The location suits us and it has never occurred to us to stay anywhere else. Great service and beautifully appointed pub lic and private rooms. The rooms are small but well designed. Anyway, the building was built in the 18th century so what else would you expect?

This is hotel is very French, very quaint with excellent service. It is in a nice neighborhood with several restaurants and shops nearby. The Latin Quarter is a long walk from the hotel but we did it several times. You can walk to the Louvre from the hotel but it could be too long for some folks. We loved the... More
