Hotel Montalembert is a lovely boutique hotel in an ideal location for restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. The Louvre, the Musee D'Orsay, the Tuileries and the St. Germain de Pres area are all walking distance. If you enjoy walking, so are Notre Dames, Ste. Chapelle and the Champs Elysees.. The personal service is what sets this hotel apart. Everyone was focused... More

We stayed in this hotel for our engagement weekend in Paris, and it was outstanding. Location is perfect in the heart of St Germain, and the initial impression of the hotel is great - contemporary, but with some authentic and original features. The suite we stayed in was exceptional - excellent living space, great bathroom and bedroom and stunning views... More

We chose a room that is which is really high grade but it was still smaller than expected. There are balcony from the bedroom and the bathroom but the rooms still feel very small. The breakfast area is very nice.

Dear SabonLover, We would like to thank you for taking the time to write this review. The Montalembert does comply with the general tendancy of the left bank, where the hotels' rooms are usually smaller. Our different room categories allow us to offer some alternatives to our guests. Please, do not hesitate to inquire about our Suites (40m2 – 430... More

I visited this hotel in August and had stayed the year before with my wife and her parents. We enjoyed the hotel and the restaurant attached. The staff was very helpful. The hotel had a little trouble running our credit card but eventually they got the credit card to work. I would recommend this boutique hotel as it had clean... More

This property has an amazing location between the Boulevards Raspail and St. Germain, as well as being next door to the Joel Robuchon restaurant ( see my review of this). It's a pretty slick operation with great front desk service and a top notch staff that is very knowledgeable and polite. The rooms are very comfortable.... we had a deluxe... More

This was a fantastic experience for us over 6 days. It began with a concern when checking in they said breakfast was not included for me, but a quick call to Amex travel rectified that and the hotel called to apologize within 30 min of check in. From there it was great. Every member of the staff were friendly and... More

I've stayed here before and the rooms are larger than in many Paris hotels. Pros: quiet, good location, good service, good food, reasonably good sized room Cons: absurdly small and stupidly organized bathroom, the "bed" was lumpy and was actually two singles pushed together (always a bad idea). I arrived at 1 am and was asked a number of idiotic... More

I have been to Paris several times now and this is by far the best hotel I have been in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location in the 7th is ideal for first time visitors. My third visit back to this lovely hotel! The location could not be more perfect - right off blvd St Germaine de Pres and an easy walk over the Seine to the right bank. We have stayed here a couple of times now. Very good location for sight seeing. Rooms are not huge but good for what you need. Nicely done out and kept well. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
