Had one night in Paris going to Florence and my wife and I stayed at the Hotel Lancaster. The location is excellent, you can walk the whole city from the hotel. People were very nice (Don't always get that in Paris, when American) The room was a decent size for Paris, small, but well put together and clean. The best... More

We stayed in the hotel from 18 - 21 March 15. From the moment we arrived we were given the undivided attention of the staff. Sven on reception found us a table at a sought after bistro and even called to confirm our booking. The hotel is full of antiques which provides great old world charm. The bar staff were... More

Our son has just spent 4 nights at this hotel with his partner in a prestige room.He said the room was large, very comfortable with 2 balcomies and a superb bathroom. The only small quibble he had was that the bed was in fact 2 singles pushed together. He wonders why one king size bed was not used instead! Like... More

This small review to update my last "enthusiastic" review. I returned to the hotel on the weekend of the 13th of December and things didn't go at all that well, probably the problem of all boutique hotels: inconsistency when it comes to the levels of service. One exception though: voiturier was just as bad as in the first review, this... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your Tripadvisor review. I am awfully sorry to read about the inconvenience regarding your lost umbrella and deeply regret this situation. In order to take your claim in consideration, prevent reoccurrence, try to find a solution, I will need more details to personally investigate internally. Would you please be kind enough to contact me directly?... More

I took my husband for her 40th birthday to Paris on the Eurostar having pre-booked two nights at the Hotel Lancaster. Absolutely stunning. We were upgraded on arrival. The room was nice. Not super big, but for a Parisien city centre hotel pretty good. Classic bathroom, but, and I've said that before about other hotels, I don't think showering in... More

This is a beautiful, elegant hotel, with lovely rooms, comfortable beds and all the amenities. Especially nice is the dining room and bar. Breakfast and dinner are served in the cozy yet sophisticated dining room which just got another michelin star...so give it a try. It is an older building so you have to accept that its history is part... More

We had a wonderful time this past weekend at the Lancaster. We came to Paris for Valentine's Day and the staff made us feel very welcome. Clearly, they are well trained and enjoy what they do. The room was fine, but the controls in the room were a bit odd. We had to take a panel off the radiator to... More

First time to Paris and immediately fell in love. Fantastic location if you are new to the city. Champs élysées is certainly avoided for native Parisians and frequent visitors, but being near many metro stations, taxi stands, and restaurants that are globally familiar is essential. The restaurant in the hotel was exquisite and was just finally done being renovated. The... More

I arrived here after a long flight from Sydney on New Year's Day so early in the morning I had to knock on the door as the hotel was shut up for the night. I was let in and warmly greeted and then when we checked in, to our great surprise and joy a room was available despite the early... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
