This is a really good hotel, with a calm and stylish feel. Beautifully decorated, with a clever authorial theme, bedrooms were bigger than most in Paris and bathrooms were gorgeous. Our party stayed in a Junior Suite (Baudelaire) and a twin (Proust) and both were great. Molton Brown toiletries, robes, slippers and plenty of towels. The staff were delightful -... More

We stayed here on a referral from a friend and it was a fantastic experience. Just a few blocks away from the famous Le Bristol Hotel, the location a short walk away from most attractions. The room rates were reasonable and the accommodations clean and nice- everything you would want from a small hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel as... More

After the stress that is oftentimes traveling, this hotel was welcome respite. The room was clean and well ordered. The location was quiet and right around the corner from luxury shopping. The room size was just right for two individuals---not at all as cramped as I believed rooms in Paris would be--and the bathroom was quite spacious. Reception was wonderful--hailing... More

This hotel is really great. We looked all over Paris for a nice hotel in a good location and we found it in Le Pavillon des Lettres. It is a five minute walk to Jardin des Tuileries and close to the metro as well. The room size is what you would expect in Paris, and they are efficiently and elegantly... More

We had stayed at the Pavilion de la Reine (a sister hotel) in the past and had an excellent experience so we thought we would give this hotel a try and were not disappointed. The location was perfect.....a quiet neighborhood but close to many major tourist and shopping areas. We had two rooms on the third floor and they were... More

Dear Guests, We would like to thank you for your loyalty to our Pavillon hotels. We are pleased to see that you greatly appreciated our property. Our decoration is slightly more modern and design than the one of Pavillon de la Reine. Indeed each of our room has its own author and special features. Our loyal guests often asks to... More

We had a wonderful short stay at Le Pavillon Des Lettres. Couldn't ask for a better location (8th) and a more helpful staff. Our superior room was a little small, but the third night we were able to stay in the Calderon room which had a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and... More

We stayed for 3 nights and were very impressed. The room was a little small but we had a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower from our corner room. The air conditioning was a little complicated but was sorted out by the staff. The free WIFI and quiet ambience was lovely.

We stayed 2 nights at the Pavillon Des Lettres last week & thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I think the 'clueless' staff member referred to in another review is probably in training & while she was not the most efficient, she was neither rude nor arrogant. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Le Pavillon des Lettres... The 1 st Paris literary hotel ! In the image of the 26 letters of the alphabet, the rooms and suites of the Pavillon des Lettres reveal the beauty and poetry of the various authors. Behind each door hides the spirit of a poet, a writer, an impassioned virtuoso, a genius, which will give a special atmosphere to the room, with the help in particular of extracts chosen and printed on the walls. A few steps from the Champs-Elysees, the Pavillon des Lettres opens the doors of Paris fashion and trends to you. It is excellently located close to the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, symbol of haute couture and refinement and composed of art galleries, embassies and luxury shops. At the heart of the prestigious neighbourhood of the Elysee Palace and Place Beauvau, the Sotheby's and Christies galleries, just a few steps from the Place de la Concorde and the Grand Palais, the Pavillon des Lettres breathes luxurious elegance and the muffled charm of the great houses. ... more   less
