We spent a couple of days in paris meeting family. Great little discovery at Le Canal. Rooms clean and tidy with room to move around and bathrooms bigger that a cupboard! Coffee and tea making facilities an unexpected bonus. Just around the corner is the canal basin La Villette, lovely for a stroll and places to eat. Also a multiplex... More

Hotel le Canal was a very well maintained hotel but not extremely close to the centre Paris. The reception point was very helpful at all times and spoke great english. The downside of the hotel was that the room was small and the toilet was even smaller. It is located nearby Staligrad Metro stop but around 40mins walk to the... More

If you are expecting the Four Seasons, then you definitely have a problem. This place is definitely small but is really well maintained and I had no complains on the hygiene or cleanliness front. My room was cute with a single bed and had lovely red accents. I had some excess luggage that I needed them to hold for me... More

Paris was the last stop in my long European vacation and I had over-spent everywhere else so I was literaly on shoe strings here. I booked myself at Le Canal after I got to Paris and got a little disheartened by the other 3 hotels I saw in my budget. Le Canal had everything I wanted. Cute reception area, nice... More

We stayed 5 nights at the Hotel Le canal. Really nice hotel just near the canal. Good breakfast and very helpful and polite staff. We arrived very late in the night and the welcoming was warm and efficient. We could leave our values in one of the safes available at the reception. The rooms were always clean and tidy when... Stayed here a week while in Paris. Small cute rooms with attached loos. Everything in Paris is smaller than rest of Europe so size was not an issue. Checked in late night and the guy at the reception was very easy and friendly. Good housekeeping. For the peanuts you pay, this place is awesome!

Needed a place to lay the head on a recent packed trip to paris. Le Canal fit the bill perfectly. The rooms are a little small but thats a problem with the whole city! Don't be disheartened though, for a small place its an incredibly clean and well managed hotel. House keeping cleaned my room every day and gave me... More

We chose Le Canal because of its proximity to the places we wanted to visit in Paris and we were on a very tight budget. This hotel may be small but it is really well managed and is very clean. We checked in early morning and were a little worried if there would be anyone at the reception to assist... More

In general we liked our staying in this hotel. Our room was small but neat and clean. There were some problems with smell in the toilet but it doesn't bother us too much. Sound isolation was good enough. Hotel workers was nice and helpful. Room cleaning was done by the personal on the daily basis. And every day we had... More

We are sorry that you apparently had such an experience in the hotel. The hotel offers safes at the reception , where you can store your values during your stay ;these safes are advertized clearly at the reception desk as well as in the rooms. When you declared a loss , the reception asked you to register a complaint at... More
