I booked this hotel back in January 2015 and while booking I had trouble including an additional person as a child. I travelled with my 8 year old daughter and we wanted to share a bed which hasn't been a problem at all other places we have been to. I sent an email to Luxelthe stating that I would be... More

The hotel has an excellent location, both if you're a Montmartre fan, and because of the metro in less than a 5 minute walk. The rooms are nice and renewed, albeit small. There is no elevator, and the stairs are tiny. The worst was that the room cleaning wasn't... cleaning! Only the bed was made, sheets were not changed. Meaning... More

I've read most of the reviews associated with this hotel and I agree with the general consensus in that this is a good, clean hotel in a convenient and ideal location. Check in and check out was easy although the reservation I had printed out said the room was available from 2 pm - however it wasn't available until 3.15pm... More

This place is a nice quite clean small hotel at central Paris that's a stone throw away from subway station with very friendly staff. If you're looking for a safe clean accessible hotel, then look no further. There's no air conditioning so be ware in hot days, but big windows in the room brings a nice breeze. I'll definitely recommend... More

A very basic hotel for a good price. The room was clean, bed was good and all the basics you need were there. The best thing about this hotel is it's place. It's on the edge of Montmartre and in walking distance of almost all the spots in Paris.

The hotel was very basic, but with a surprisingly comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a fantastic location in Paris - an easy walk to Monarte and Sacre Coeur and very close to two Metro stations (Pigelle and Absesses). Moulin Rouge is just around the corner. Many restaurants and bakeries etc are nearby. The... More

In a great location, all the basics that you need. The room was clean and had a balcony with a nice view of the street below. The only small challenge is the lack of an elevator. A good 3 star value in a fun neighbourhood..

Hotel is very closed to metro station, where is less than 100 metres from the metro, and you can find many restaurants, bakeries and pharmacies nearby. Room is bigger than I expected and this was clean. If price and location is the first priority, this is a good choice for travellers.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
