Hotel is very closed to metro station, where is less than 100 metres from the metro, and you can find many restaurants, bakeries and pharmacies nearby. Room is bigger than I expected and this was clean. If price and location is the first priority, this is a good choice for travellers.

This is a very old hotel on a quiet street in the heart of Monmartre. The bathrooms have been updated but nothing else has been. It's a walkup with no luggage help and no air conditioning. Lack of air conditioning is not a problem if you travel in September as I did. The hotel is less than 100 yards from... More

can't ask for more for the amount paid. Nice location with easy access to underground & buses. Right next to Pigalle area with many eateries, supermarkets & of course, beware of those infamous tourists' traps in Pigalle. the only setback I experienced was that the wifi internet connection was down for few hours in a night when I needed it... Excellent location, 2 minutes from metro station Pigalle, clean rooms and bathroom, nice service. Many shops, cafes and restaurants around. I highly recommend it if you travel to Paris soon. Montmartre is simply beautiful.

This hotel had a fantastic location and an even better price. There aren't any frills like breakfast or a lift, but the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, there's wifi, and a nice bathroom. It's location in Montmartre really can't be beat. We had a room on the street, and like other reviewers said it got a bit noisy... More

This is a simple, clean, old-fashioned Parisian hotel. They give you a key, not a card. There is no elevator or air conditioning. The beds are comfortable, and the wi fi is free (get the code from the front desk). It is near great brasseries and cafes on Rue des Abbesses, and a 3 min walk to either the Pigalle... More

Good location. Friendly welcome. Very clean room (but the bathroom is small) with a good bed. Double glazed windows keep out all the noise. No telephone in the room. No credit cards accepted at the time I wanted to pay. The lobby is rather poor. Note that there is no elevator !

Fantastic location 3 minutes from Pigalle Metro, clean hotel, friendly staff, great value for money in an otherwise expensive hotel city. Room was quite small, but didn't really matter as we were hardly there. Soft bed perfect for energizing for the next day. The room was facing the street so was a bit noisy in the morning with the primary... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
