Recently I stayed in 4 different hotels in Paris, and this was on my last night. It is simply the BEST value for money provided you don't care about service. The room I stayed was "Room 1 Single Room, 1 Person, 56Euros" which I booked through Booking.com. The actual room number I think was 15 on the 3rd floor. Pros:... More

I checked into the hotel at 4 PM on a Sunday in December, then went out to explore the city and returned at midnight to find there was no heat or hot water in the hotel. We then learned that the boiler broke on Saturday, and wouldn't be fixed until Monday afternoon. I was particularly frustrated that we were not... More

Service is ok and friendly. The Hotel is old, floors crack, I found that charming and not annoying. All bathrooms are new, clean and well equipped. No long corridors with lots of doors, that makes it quiet. No elevator. My bed was good but to short (for 1.90 m). But: Europeean pillows! There is a very good Indain restaurant next... More

I loved this place. The relation price/quality was really good! The rooms were clean and nice, not small at all and it is very well located. Very good price for the average in Paris, it is almost imposible to find something this good with this price. The staff was helpful and nice. I would come back!

Rooms were clean, tidy and modern. They were small, but more than adequate if you don't plan on spending too much time at the hotel. Some staff spoke better English than others, but they were all extremely friendly and welcoming. Location was excellent, close to several metro stations, walking distance to Sacre Coeur. One of the best wi-fi internet connections... More

This was a nice hotel about a 10 meter walk form the Pigalle in Paris and the Pigalle metro line. The room was warm but very small and the bathroom was modern and nicely finished. The staff were nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin and we could hear everything from the room next to ours and above... More

I booked this hotel based on the tips of fellow TA travellers. The hotel, painted white looked ordinary. Even the name was not prominent. But when we got our room, we were impressed with the decor and the size of the bathroom. Clean and very very liveable. There was always someone at the reception and you get a nice greeting... More

The Luxelthe is very conveniently located a block or two from the Pigalle subway stop in Paris. It is a budget hotel with small, but clean rooms and a nicely refurbished bathroom. The owner was happy to give out information and quite friendly. Since this is my first stay ever in Paris, I am not familiar with what the competition... More

Montmartre is a must when visiting Paris. The Moulin Rouge, Sacré-Cœur, the beautiful restaurants, typical cafés and flea markets... And even better than just spending a day in Montmartre is actual staying there, and Luxelthe is your best option! Rooms are small, but hey, you are not going to Paris to stay at the hotel and watch TV, right? At... More

We have been going to Paris for over 15 years and like to stay in different parts of this city. This hotel is the best value. It's located in a great area, perfect for exploring Sacre Coeur and Montmartre. The staff speak excellent English and the owner lives on site so he is always able to help you at any... More
