I very much enjoyed my stay at Hotel Joyce. The accommodation was charming and the staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel is in a great location (only a short walk to both Montmartre and Galaries Lafayette). The Saint-Georges metro station was also very close and really useful on rainy days. Finally, the... We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay in Hotel Joyce. In fact, we wish it could have been longer! We had requested a room with a balcony and were so pleased when informed upon arrival that our request had been granted. Our room was very comfortable and had all the modern luxuries you would expect of a high class hotel. The... More

This is now our hotel of choice for Paris. The staff are polite, friendly and knowledgable and the hotel is clean and fresh. We were lucky enough to have a balcony room and it was brilliant. The room was small but clean, the shower was powerful and the complimentary toiletries were high quality. It's a five minute walk from the... More

I cannot fault the experience I had staying at the Joyce Hotel. The staff were all superb - friendly, helpful and incredible at what they do. To the point of each remembering my name, knowing my room number and knowing I like to a drink green tea in the morning at breakfast. I was really blown away! The hotel itself... More

Contemporary dining area with a scrummy continental breakfast. Rooms were quirky, comfortable and cool. Bathroom had lovely little extras, such as creams and... More

We arrived at Hotel Joyce after flying all night and were warmly greeted by the staff. They sat down with us, gave us directions and instructions to sights and trains and even walked outside to the corner street to make sure we were following the correct path. The rooms were excellent and clean and the breakfast was lovely. Samuel, Eduardo,... More

I came here with my wife for our honeymoon and couldn't be happier with our experience at Hotel Joyce. The rooms were a bit small, but for a 3 star hotel in Paris you should expect this. The free snacks in the lobby was a great addition. The staff was what stood out the most. They went out of their... More

We had a great time while staying at this hotel. The staff took us through details of nearby stations and on tips to reach major attractions. The food available throughout the afternoon is a good feature. Rooms are bright and tastefully designed. I did have some problems with the Wifi late at night and hope the management looks into this.... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
