A nice friendly hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable but be aware that the lift is tiny. The dining room where breakfast is served has natural light from the domed glass ceiling. They are refurbishing the top floor and could be heard working outside the room in the morning, no noisy drills but rubbing down walls. We arrived late evening... More

small hotel next to a descent restaurant and not far from big stores and metro, good size room with excellent bathroom and very comfy bed. Felt a bit weird when after few drinks I called the reception for toothpaste and was asked to go downstairs to pick it up, they didn't want to bring it up to the 5th floor.

Hotel is close to station. Located close to cafes and some restaurants. Hotel service is excellent and we really appreciated the snack bar at the end of a long day. Staff were helpful with advice and tips. Just need to fix the wifi. Not a good area to walk alone at night (but that can be said about most of... More

A small hotel that has been renovated and modernised. The rooms are comfortable and hace great decor. The staff were excellent and all made you feel welcome. They really go out of their way to help. I would love to stay at this quirky hotel again. Look out for the small lift!

I stay at Hotel Joyce quite often as I travel to Paris for work every week or two. It's a lovely boutique hotel, with a modern décor, rooms are comfortable, good size and staff always very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is great, everything tasty and fresh but it's the same every day so if you stay few nights... More

We stayed in Hotel Joyce for 3 nights and the staff was very helpful and friendly! We needed some dinner options and they gave us recommendations where to go for a nice dinner. We liked the room very much, it gave us a very "parisian feel". The lift was quite small, 2 person with 2 luggages. Overall it was great!

The wife and I stayed here for a long weekend. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly, smiling, and helpful desk staff. The staff was pleasant and friendly throughout the entire stay. I was extremely pleased with the staff's willingness to provide assistance with directions and restaurant recommendations. The hotel is very clean and although the room was... More

I stayed 4 nights in Hotel Joyce during the christmas season. It was a pleasant stay and they had even prepared a box of chocolates in our room for us during christmas. There is also an open bar where you can get drinks or snacks in the evening / night. It is walking distance to the train station and the... More

Good size for rooms in Paris, helpful and smiling staff. Great place with transparent rooftop where breakfast is served ! The street is quiet if you wish to sleep with open windows. Internet works well and metro is a rock throw away. Good ratio price vs quality.

Staff (5-star): This is the best part of the hotel. The staff (especially Edouard, a gentleman wearing a pair of glasses at the night shift, and the lady who welcomed us on the first day) there are extremely sincere and friendly, showing you the places and directions to visit and eat, booking a cab for you, and even being very... Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
