Very clean and quiet hotel with small but cosy rooms. Outstanding breakfast buffet and extremely friendly and helpfull staff at all hours. Free WiFi at OK speed. Free bar (non alcoholic) with beverages and snacks during the day. Close to St George Metro making it very accessible to and from most sights. A few shifts from the airport train though,... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. We had the suite room for 3 of us and it was ideal - very spacious, modern, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel is modern and quirky which we loved, esp .the lift, which amused us each time we took it. The breakfast was good... More

Being unfamiliar with Paris, we found choosing a hotel to be somewhat intimidating. We were fortunate to find this place. The location, the staff, and our room were all excellent. Regarding location, the Joyce is an easy walk to Montmartre and Pigalle. Once we found our bearings and figured out the metro system, we found getting to the main tourist... More

This darling boutique hotel met all of our expectations and was true to its advertising. Its location so close to Montmartre and Sacre Coer for walking. Decor was quirky and had points of interest everywhere your eyes looked. The facilities were good and clean and the room size was more than we expected of Paris hotels. The dining area for... More

From the first welcome we had a great stay at the Joyce. Every request was met with a smile and an efficient response. Hard pick out particular staff members as all were very pleasant but special thanks to Fabio for help with dinner and other reservations. As previous reviews have said the overall decor is quirky and we had a... More

Our stay at Hotel Joyce was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly, and made our travel experience even better. The location of the hotel was fantastic, as it is within 2 minutes walking distance of the Saint-Georges station for line 12 of the metro. Very east to get to all locations within Paris with minimal transfers. There are also small... More

Well-placed in Montmartre this funky little hotel is indeed of the boutique style. Decor is great and the bed comfortable. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The little introduction to your stay is a rather nice touch. The breakfast was plentiful. I would stay here again. The metro is within walking distance and the Moulin Rouge is as well. A... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
