My spouse and I stayed at Chambre d'hôtes Delareynie's St. Merri studio apartment for four nights in March 2014. It was perfect for our long weekend in Paris. Here are our highlights and things to consider when booking St. Merri. Highlights: - The studio is small, but spacious enough for a queen bed, kitchenette, sitting area and our luggage. We... More

We have just returned again from the apartment at Notre Dame, this is not the bed and breakfast but a separate apartment.. We travelled here last year as a birthday treat and loved it so much we decided to return.. The owner Ghislain is a fantastic man and again was waiting at the door when we arrived. The flats fully... My husband and I loved staying here. Perfect location if you are traveling in from either of the airports by RER, and also perfect location to explore. Ghislain was a pleasure to meet, very helpful and charming. Note that Ghislain has several properties, we stayed at the B&B on rue de la Reynie.

My husband & I rented the Studio Notre Dame over Christmas and it was wonderful. When you leave the building you really are AT Notre Dame, steps away from Shakespeare & Co and just a block from the St. Michel metro. The steep, winding stairs might not be good for travelers with more limited mobility, but for us they thoroughly... More

Ghislain is the perfect host. Our stay at the Studio du Temple was absolutely spectacular, it's just like being at home, the Studio was clean and comfortable, one jump away from the Hôtel de Ville, in a lively neighborhood. You can enjoy a homemade meal if you don't feel like eating out, since there's everything you need to cook and... More

This studio cannot be praised enough! The price is great and divided between two people the 110€ a night is well worth the unbeatable location! Ten steps away from Shakespeare and Co., with Notre Dame just a 2 min. walk to the left, the Latin Quarter at your fingertips (with numerous bookstores, shops, restaurants, cafes and patisseries open until the... The accommodation is very well situated, minutes walk from chatelet and the river. Ghislain is a wonderful host, providing a lovely breakfast and tips for places to go nearby. We weren't pressured to check out by a particular time and were able to leave our bags all day. The only minus was that there was only one bathroom for 7... More

If ever you want to go to Paris and feel like you are at home then this is the place to be. It was a lovely stay. Comfortable and Cosy. We were 7 girls and were able to come and go as we needed. Never forget that on the day of your departure most hotels will not let you leave... More

I found this b & b on the bedandbreakfast.com/paris-france website and sent an inquiry using their contact form. I took many days before I received a response. I asked about availability for specific time in June - more than 3 months ahead. Again it took many days before I received a reply - this time with an apology and feedback... More

I'm just back from the Notre Dame apartment and I have already made plans to return next year. The flat has everything that you would require for a long or short stay. Everything in the apartment is modern. The host is very friendly and greets you with a baguette and there's plenty of jam, butter and coffee, tea and orange... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
