Yes this was my third stay at the appartment, I normally visit for a few days around my birthday and what could be a better location to spend it than Paris! Unfortunaly our plane was delayed and it was pouring down but as usual Ghislain was awaiting our arrival and escorted us to the apartment which as usual was stocked... More

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in this studio apartment. It is small by American standards, but what you would expect for a European room. I wouldn't reccommend it for more than two adults. This flat is in an old building approx 150 years old, so if you're looking for new and trendy this won't be for you.... More

We visited paris last november (2013) and stayed at the notre Dame studio for 4 nights. It is located at the "quartier latin" opposite to the notre dame church, which was ideal!! It was very quiet despite the fact that we were at the heart of the quartier latin. The studio was recently renovated, clean and fairly comfortable. Please do... More

We stayed in the Notre Dame Studio in June 2014. The location is centrally located to the metro which makes it easy to visit all the major sights. The Notre-Dame Cathedral can be seen when you walk outside of the apartment's main doorway. Ghislain was a pleasant host and was flexible with our last minute change of plans. The apartment... More

Stayed at Temple St apartment. Originally booked Notre Dame, but host Ghislain had issues with the plumbing when we arrived in Paris, so moved us to Temple st instead. At first I was a little put out, as all my plans and maps had been for Notre Dame, but Ghislain was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome... More

We stayed in the 'Notre-dame' studio flat - This flat is situated in a great location, right next to Notre dame, so is perfect for a tourist visit - you are close to all the sights and have good metro links. The owner provded some bread, juice and jams to kick us off, which was a nice touch. The flat... More

My husband and I stayed at the Studio Notre Dame for three nights in May. The location is fantastic! When you walk out of the apartment building you can see the Notre Dame Cathedral. and are literally steps away from the famous Shakespeare and Company bookstore. The studio is centrally located, so you really can walk everywhere. And if you... More

We stayed in Studio Notre Dame January 2012. Unbeatable location, you can walk where ever you want to go and will save so much on transport as you are very central. Yes, it is a small apartment but you don't need something bigger as you will be out and about in Paris. We really had good quality sleep here. You... More

I stayed at Studio Du Temple and absolutely loved the accommodations. Beautiful floor to ceiling french door windows that open up to the street. Updated, clean and modern loft style apartment. Ample closet space. More spacious than any hotel you will get. Best value ever. Absolutely loved the neighborhood. Only complaint is the club across the street...can get loud after... More

My spouse and I stayed at Chambre d'hôtes Delareynie's St. Merri studio apartment for four nights in March 2014. It was perfect for our long weekend in Paris. Here are our highlights and things to consider when booking St. Merri. Highlights: - The studio is small, but spacious enough for a queen bed, kitchenette, sitting area and our luggage. We... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
