Was looking for something different for a romantic 10th Anniversary trip to Paris and this only ticked some of the boxes. Positives - pretty central, quirky feel, good bed, nice breakfast options, nice staff Negatives - not a 4**** in my book, limited facilities (although we didn't use the Turkish baths which was our own fault), found an uneaten lunch... What we loved most about this little boutique hotel was how helpful and accommodating the front staff was. We had a positive experience with each and every staff member and they even allowed us to use their phone multiple times as we had an urgent matter back home we had to attend to. The one negative was the room was... More

Went there for a long weekend. Nice and clean rooms, good breakfast and freindly staff. The hotell is located in a bad area, but the inside weighs up to the bad outside. Recommended for couples on shorters stays.

Dear Mr. Svensson, I would like to apologize if the area has not satisfied you. Indeed, we are in a popular area that has its inconveniences. That is why we enhance the fact that we are in an isolated street away from the noise and the crowd so that you can have a nice relaxing week end. We are thankful... More

Stayed 3 nights in junior suite on level 7 and wish I could stay longer! The room decor was different and interesting. Wifi is better than average for hotel wifi and there's a computer in the ground floor where they even allow u to print (very handy). Metro practically on hotel doorstep that's 3 stops from Gare du Nord and... More

As you arrive, you're greeted with amazing staff dressed in solid black and Crimson suspenders. It's an amazingly chic hotel with a Parisian film-industry style coupled with beautiful decor and comfortable rooms. While cozy, the rooms had more than enough room for a couple to maneuver. Free wifi, a stocked mini bar and brand new furnishings make it a great... More

Nice small hotel. Situation was suitable with good connections and still quiet street. Rooms were really funny, each with own personality, good breakfast. But the best of all was the staff. We realy enjoyed our visit.

Great little hotel, slightly quirky with the decor but goes with the theme. Very easy to find, super close to the metro and just a few stops from Gare du Nord for the Eurostar. Great area for a base as only a short walk to Notre Dame or the Louvre and from La Marais which is full of great restaurants.... More

Lovely quirky hotel. Very friendly staff. Easy to find and a nice area. Room was small but so are all rooms in Paris so nothing unusual there. Modern bathroom facilities and very clean. Wifi was great as well - no problems there. Easy to walk down to the Louvre and the Notre Dame to start your sightseeing. Loads of restaurants... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
