First, the service was impeccable. The front desk was beyond courteous, respectful and helpful. The breakfast and welcoming petite respites were wonderful. Especially loved the raspberry juice in the mornings. Our room was small but sufficient for our needs. The toilette was beautifully appointed and a great shower. The bed comfortable. All needs met. The clientele is international and we... More

We completely enjoyed the hotel itself, the staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Great location in the Latin quarter in quiet area about three blocks from the river. I definitely recommend staying here, and we will not hesitate to stay here again.

This is my second stay at Le Petit and the second visit was just as good as the first. Comfy beds, great location and helpful hotel staff. The location is one of the best if you are athletic and enjoy keeping up your running or walking routine. The park is just 2 blocks away and the locals love to run.... More

We booked two rooms for a weekend. The room decor is nice - modern, tasteful, stylish. But there are some really annoying and silly design features, particularly with our eaves room (502). Reading lights over bed hang in an alcove and so don't light the bed. We ended up holding them. This room is very small with tiny wardrobes (vs... More

Quaint boutique hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Fun rooms with colorful decor and nice bathrooms. Our teens stayed in Room 101 which had a pink motif and we stayed in Room 1, across the courtyard, which was much larger and had an orange motif. Excellent coffee in the morning and a delicious breakfast buffet. We wanted to experience the Latin... More

This hotel is exactly what we need. We visit Paris frequently, and this is a wonderful "home base." Very clean, extremely good, friendly service. Nice breakfast (only meal served) but also lots of nice restaurants around. Fantastic location -- super close to St. Germain des Pres, the Jardin du Luxembourg, the Pantheon, fun and lively cafes and restaurants. Nice shower... More

Our first visit to Paris and welcomed by a very pleasant english speaking chap called Karim. Karim gave us great advice on the big attractions. Tip: pre book your Effiel tower visit well in advance. Room was very clean, compact and comfortable. The location is perfect for the Metro station which is only 2-3 mins away. Notre dame cathedral is... More

Quite large rooms for a boutique hotel. Newly renovated with an excellent shower. Large library for relaxing and excellent coffee. As a surprise at 4:00 PM a delicious apple pie was served which we very much enjoyed. They have friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Great location. Very close to the Pantheon and Luxemburg gardens. We rarely used the metro. All major attractions were a walk away. The room was beautiful, very clean and quiet. Free Wifi!! The staff were professional, courteous and most helpful. They will go out of their way to attend to your every need and desire. we enjoyed it very much.

Celebrating my Husband's special 40th birthday, the occasion was marked by him and 3 friends cycling from England to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. I was looking for a central hotel near bars and restaurants which had a touch of Paris but with comfort and style and that's exactly what we got. It was very much a typical parisian boutique... Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
