A great little hotel which was recommended to us by a friend. 3 stops from the eurostar on the tube and a short walk. Perfect location to wander down the hill to the Latin quarter, the sites and the general bustle of Paris. Staff were great, room was perfect and the breakfast outstanding quality. My wife and I couldn't have... More

My now husband proposed to me about two years ago in Paris. He had arranged to stay at the Hotel le Petit Paris. It's in the perfect neighborhood to see all of the sites. The room was cozy, the bathroom amenities wonderful, we were there at the end of June/early July and it was nice to enjoy a cup of... More

Having read previous reviews and looking up photos, I was sold over. The reviews did not disappoint. I had booked this as a birthday surprise for a my boyfriend. I had contacted the hotel directly and asked if they could help me with the surprise and both Karim and Alexandra had been in touch to ensure the room would be... More

My family of 4 stayed in Hotel Le Petit Paris over the Christmas/New Year break (December 2014). Somewhat small for two teenagers and two adults however it was wonderful being able to retreat to afternoon happy hour for champagne and tarte in the common area or to the courtyard. Breakfast was very reasonable and welcoming as not many places do... More

We spent the last weekend of November 2014 in Paris with another couple. Very satisfied with the stay at Le Petit Paris. A pretty, calm and nice hotel. Good service and very helpful staff. All rooms have different themes and colours. Small rooms even for the "Superior" sized rooms, but I believe most Parisian hotel rooms are small. Nice breakfast... More

Clean, polite staff, nice rooms. Only downfall was that the rooms were small but the accommodations were wonderful. The staff were awesome. It is a short walk from the metro. There is not much of a night life in this area. If you are looking for a party area this would not be a good location.

Hotel Le Petit Paris is a wonderful boutique hotel in the 5th arrondissement - close to The Pantheon, Jardin de Luxembourg and walking distance to St Chappelle, Musee D'Orsay and even Eiffel Tower if you like walking. This hotel is wonderful from the edgy decor which strikes you on entry to the beautiful and beautifully appointed rooms which are relatively... More

My wife and I and our two kids (12 & 11) stayed for the weekend. This is an excellent location and the staff was one of the most friendly and helpful I've had the pleasure of dealing with - and I travel a lot!

This is an excellent hotel in Paris. We love staying here, enjoying the honor bar and the advice from Alexandra and Karim. The bed was very good and we slept well, hard though it is to waste any time in Paris in sleep. I can't imagine staying any place else.

My friend and I stayed at Hotel Le Petit Paris for 7 days in early December. The hotel exceeded our expectations with a great location, well appointed quiet courtyard facing rooms and gracious , helpful staff. The hotel lobby is welcoming and tastefully decorated with a unique flair. Afternoon champagne and fruit tart are not to be missed. Un gros... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
