What a gem of a hotel. We picked this hotel based on location and reviews, it did not disappoint. We stayed in a room for three. It was small as expected, but was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating, allowing us into the room before booking in time. This was... More

The rooms are typically on the small side as most are in Paris hotels. Each one though is unique, clean and comfortable. You can make tea and coffee in the lounge where you will also find an honesty bar. I found the breakfast pretty good and again everything is very clean. The wi-fi too is fast. The hotel is very... This delightful hotel seemed to have everything you could ask for, starting with an extremely helpful and friendly staff. English-speaking, of course. Rooms were small but to be expected, and plenty comfortable, the breakfast offered in the mornings is plentiful. It is small, comfortable, a nice lounge area, on a busy street (tho we had no problem with automotive noise),... More

Recommended by a friend of a friend this Latin Quarter hotel was great from the moment we pushed open its glass doors. Small and tastefully furnished in contemporary style we immediately loved the tiny green garden to be seen from the breakfast room. Everyone we met on reception & at breakfast (fresh fruit, pastries, cheeses & meats) during our 3... More

I had set my eyes on this hotel for a while, and intent finally met an available room last Easter. The room was as beautiful as expected (they even got me the exact room I said I liked, which was quite a nice surprise!). This street is not very busy, so I had good sleep despite having a room overlooking... More

This is a pretty boutique hotel in Paris not too far from luemourg metro station. rooms especially the standard ones are quite small and if you have too many suitcases will be difficult to move around. Nice shower and toiletries though we did manage to lock the toilet door from te outside by accident! luckily some quick thinking saved the... More

This is a great little hotel in a lovely area. We stayed in a classic room and it was very small but Paris hotel rooms are small and we could have chosen to spend more on a larger room. The hotel throughout is very tastefully decorated and clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had our 5... More

Thank you Thank you Thank you le Petit Paris for an amazing stay! My husband & I stayed 3 nights and was made to feel so welcome. The staff were always friendly, speaking very good English, which made it extremely helpful when asking any questions about where we wanted to go. It is an easy walk to the Luxembourg Gardens,... This is a small gem. The location is excellent. Close proximity to the metro (Luxembourg) makes for easy and speedy access from the airport and you are right in the middle of the Latin Quarter with that special atmosphere - that makes you feel that you are in Paris and not just any other big city in the world. The... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
