Hotel near Republique and close to metro. Marais centre is at a 10-15 minutes walk. Offers basic rooms that are clean but fairly small. Bathroom is rather small as well. Reception staff is friendly and helpful. Reception toilet is not always well cleaned. Hotel does not have secured luggage storage. Overall, rates are too high for quality offered.

My colleague and I arrived in Paris and were looking forward to staying in the beautiful and charming area of Le Marais. When we arrived at the hotel, even from the outside, we knew that it wasn't going to be the best experience. It was small and run down from the outside and only got worse as we walked in.... More

My colleague and I were meant to stay here for a recent business trip. The pictures of the rooms are not accurate to what we were expected to sleep in. Both rooms (on different floors) were extremely dirty. Dusty, filthy toilets and bathroom facilities in general. The communal areas were dirty too. One bedroom door at a large gap at... More

With an excellent location in Le Marais, we found this hotel last minute. During checkin, we were informed that the payment had to be done in cash as the card machine was broken. As these things can happen to anyone, we do appreciate the free breakfast offered by the hotel, to compensate the inconvenience. We found the hotel to be... More

Rooms were clean and the hotel is in a good location, close to the metro station and good restaurants. Staff were very helpful with the exception of one at the end of our stay. In the evening of the 18th July before our checkout, we wanted to arrange transfers to the airport. It seemed very inconvenient for the man at... More

The hotel is small and clean. On arrival I asked about local calls. I am a seasoned traveller and always ask aboiut the charges! The manager said they were free within Paris. I made 5 calls locally for a total of about 30 minutes. On check out I was handed a bill for over 45 euros. The front desk said... More

The hotel is situated in a wonderful location in Le Marais, right in the heart of all the boutiques and cafes. That's about all this hotel's got going for it. With that said, the room and bathroom were TINY. My husband and I are not big people (I'm 5'4, and he's 5'8), and I was banging into all the walls... More

Stayed in Feb 2015 - my girlfriend and I found the hotel comfortable if a little small (I suppose that's the negative side of being so central.) The room was clean and tidy, and comfortable if a little hot. It's a lovely place with friendly and helpful staff (who printed our concert tickets upon request without charge etc.) A great... More

I agree with the constructive criticism from diesel bloke. We were moved on day 2 of our 4 day stay to a higher and slightly larger but much nicer attic room on the 6 th floor. The first room on the 3 rd floor was in poor condition and EXTREMELY small room. The bathroom was so small that one had... More

The hotel is pretty well located. About the rest of the important things, is clean and the breakfast is good. The rooms are small but if you don't have a problem with that, you will find this hotel very convenient.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
