The location is near local bars so its very noise to sleep but easy for hang outs. Found a dead small rodent in the bathroom. The room was quite spacious and descent. The owner is nice and chatty despite other staff that are very strict with max 2am or the hotel door will be locked.

Here's a doozy.... I went to Paris for a week and booked this hotel for the entire time. This was THE WORST experience I've ever had! I booked a double room at Ideal Hotel for 2 persons, for a total of 5 nights. I checked in with my travel companion (who stayed there the first night (September 27th). The next... More

Stayed here on a romantic weekend away. Agree with earlier reviewers that location is great, 5 steps from the Port D'Orleans metro stop, which is 26min from Gare Du Nord and 17min from Sant-Michel (latin quarter). Nearby there is a good bakery, and LIDL. Reception was full of builder materials as they are still tarting it up, so its rather... More

Our son who is in the military stationed in Germany drove us to Paris for the weekend and we stayed in Hotel Ideal. The location is great. close to the train, few steps from the grocery store and small businesses like the bakeries, butchers, delis and all the convinience of home. Walking distance to the Eiffel tower and from there... More

We were booked in for four nights and were forced to check out after one sleepless night. Hotel is located miles from any attractions in a rundown area. Rooms are small, poorly decorated and smelled of bleach. Bathroom is filthy and cramped, whilst the shower temperature was sporadic. The 'minibar' contained opened food and drinks passed their sell by date.... More

This hotel was honestly disgusting and I would never set foot in the place ever again. We had a booking for 4 nights, which we had to pay 3 upfront, we left after the first night because it was so awful (we only stayed the first night because it was 1am when we arrived and couldn't find anywhere else at... This hotel is situated in a busy residential hub in Paris at the end of the M4 Metro line in Port d'Orlean. One literally walks up the metro stairs and the hotel is in front of them. On first impressions, the hotel appears quite small and compact but very nicely decorated with modern furniture (plenty of pink!). Those working on... More
