This hotel was a recommended by a Parisienne friend with impeccable taste. It was recommended to her by an Italian male friend with "high standards". The Apostrophe hotel did not disappoint. Isabelle and her team (Mark, Benoit, Roman and Laurent) were extremely welcoming, informative and accommodating. Housekeeping were like elves, never saw or heard them. Only saw the results of... I booked this hotel at the suggestion of conference organizers and was not disappointed; while I have previously stayed in the area with my family at an apartment, I was travelling alone and wanted somewhere safe, well-located, and interesting. This hotel exceeded my expectations at every turn. I stayed in Room O on the first floor, which had a lovely... More

We found this hotel by chance in the middle of the night after a bad experience with Airbnb. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful, they were polite and great at handling both the reservation and all our travel needs. I agree with AJB51, Roman was a fantastic resource while planning side trips and a pleasure to talk... More

Thank you for your kind review. Indeed our location (hidden Saint Germain des Près) is quite unique. A part of the hotel charm is the clear shower doors... Granted is not for evryone but it is a special feature. Looking forward to seeing you next time. More

Like many of the other reviews state, the rooms are very very small. The WC is so small you may have to sit sideways. After one night in the room I immediately started looking for another hotel, but everything else was very expensive. It really soured our Parisian experience.

Thank you for giving us the highest mark in terms of cleanliness, location and service quality. We regret to learn (7 months later) via this forum that our room size was crucial for you. This is clearly stated everywhere and explains the price tag. A tiny advise : reserve a Pittoresque or a Balneo to have a bit of more... More

We have just returned from 3 nights at the hotel and it was a great experience. This is a small hotel down a little street off the main boulevard. Great for shopping/eating and near enough the metro. The best part of our trip was the staff, Roman the concierge was our go to guy every time we left the hotel... More

Finding the right hotel in Paris was quite difficult as prices are high, same as the no. of hotels! I was really lucky to find this one. The location was great: close to several Metro stations (with short distance to the sightseeing spots), plenty of (good) restaurants and bars around, clean and secure neighborhood. The staff at the reception was... More

I stayed at the Apostrophe Hotel for my honeymoon in March and could not have been any happier with my choice. The location is simply perfect. Very close to main metro stations, "Vavin", "Raspail", "Montparnasse", and a couple of others that made transportation very easy. We got the Paris Paradis room and it was great, you could even see the... More

I do not have enough positive adjectives for how thoroughly thrilled I was with this hotel and the amazing staff. The trip would not have been nearly as marvelous if we had not stayed here. The room we stayed in was Livre, in the "Pittoresque" category which is their medium sized room category. I chose this room due to the... More

I had a very good stay at this hotel. The rooms are very small, to be expected in Paris, the location is relatively good, but what made it a very good stay for me was the staff, they do go out of there way to accommodate you and attend to any of your needs. You can tell they care about... More

Thank you for pointing out the good level of service. We understand your displeasure for paying for fresh squeezed orange juice and home cooked croissants (by the way would have cost you more outside of the hotel) but we are kind of irked by the fact that you forgot to mention the complementary early check in (value 50 €) and... My boyfriend and I just got back from a 3 night stay at the Apostrophe Hotel for my birthday from 23rd March. We loved it! We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel of course as we were out sightseeing for roughly 12 hours a day, but the time we did spend there was pleasant and you were... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
