I had a similar experience as one of the other reviewers. The doorman asked me what I was looking for and when I answered that we wanted to have a drink in the bar, he said the bar was full and you need a reservation. Ritz is a legendary palace and staying there is always a nice experience. You will get what you are expecting: excellent service, nice room, great food. Decoration is very traditional but not dated. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels in Europe and indeed in Paris as this was our 10th visit. This is a classis palace hotel with all the amenities. We found this hotel on Luxury Group and we were expecting luxury and got it. Gourmet food, very nice spa facility and the famoud Hemingway bar. The shopping is right outside the door. Can't beat the location. more
Immpecable service, professional yet warm. My husband organised our trip as a surprise for my 40th and I couldn't have wished anything better. The experience exceeded both our expectations.
