I stayed at fiap while traveling with friends. We had a private room with 4 beds. It was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was great The location is not so great as it is quite far from the city center however it is very close to the metro and about a 13 min ride to the Eiffel Tower.... More

I stayed in Fiap for a Paris work experience trip. Overall, the hotel was spacious and clean. I stayed in a 7 bed room on the second floor (3 bunks, one singular.) The room had two showers, two toilets and two sinks in order to accommodate the amount of people staying in the room. The showers were really good, never... More

This was my first experience staying in a Hostel and FIAP was honestly awesome. The rooms are clean, and beds and bathrooms are cleaned every day. The staff is very nice and most speak really good English. The location is right next to one of the police stations so its very safe, and they check all bags when you enter.... More

The place is nice but its overun with functions and conferances. Hard to meet fellow travellers when theres so many people here on business. They dont allow you to bring in your own food or drinks. There is also no mixed dorms which i prefer.

I have used the venue as a guest, just for lunch and attending a conference. The food and the facilities were first class, the wifi not. Was really frustrating trying to work and send mails with an unstable poor connection. This could be easily sorted by upgrading the server. The staff was really nice too.

Tossing up between a rating of very good to average due to the poor food choices for dinner. Stayed here with a school group for the third time in 5 years. Rooms have been refurbished and are modern, clean and comfortable. FIAP staff are helpful and the hostel is safe with security at nighttime. A great place to stay for... More

When imagining a youth hostel, unsatisfactory conditions and rowdy guests prove dominant. However, at FIAP Jean Monnet this was not at all the case. The food was good. The rooms were great. The lobby decor was bright and lively. Of course luxury cannot be expected, but a comfortable stay is guaranteed. The washing room is not the best but it... More

I went here on a school visit. The hostel is near a metro station which links you to all the must see places in Paris, the time i had here was great. The rooms are kitted out with essentials and is a very friendly place with security at the doors after a curfew hour

I stayed there for three weeks and I must say that I loved it. It was very clean, the staff was very friendly and nice, and the rooms are very modern and cozy. It is also very close to the metro, line 6, which can take you almost everywhere. The only thing that bothered me with my stay was that there... More

J'taime Jean Monnet it's such a lovely place to stay and will defiantly be coming back soon, enjoyed every second off it! Except the floors look very similar and I happened to walk into someone's else's room bearing in mind their door was wide open so i wasn't entirely to blame

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
