The hotel is wonderfully placed, close to the shopping area of Hausmann street and many other Paris attractions. Its interior is beautifully decorated (it used to be a bank) but not everything is functional. The rooms are quite small and noisy on the street side. However they have all necessary amenities and comfort. Even if you don't sleep here, go... More

Higher ratings seen here and elsewhere can't be legitimate. This hotel rates themselves as a 5 star hotel - not even close - 3 star is being VERY generous. Location - it's near the Opera, but unfortunately just a few blocks to the - meh side of town. Hotel - the hotel is very dark and dreary especially the hallways.... More

I stayed here for my birthday weekend 31st May and 1st June, my husband surprised me with a 2 night stay. On arrival I was blown away by the décor in the lobby, lovely artistic touches everywhere and very dramatic. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. I loved the fact the hotel is quite... More

This 5* hotel is located in the centre of Paris, just a few steps from Galeries Lafayette and the opera. Good confi rooms with good beds. The breakfast is at extra charge but is superb with fresh juice, egg to your liking and fresh fruit. The hotel is located in an old building that used to be a bank. Take... More

Good hotel, efficient and professional staff who take pride in what they do. Our room was lovely but small but we expected that from previous trip advisor reviews. Only disapointment was the shower/ bath........ Small shower and shower head which made you crunch right into the edge of the bath to get wet! Why such a classy joint which clearly... More

Stayed a few nights on business. Well located hotel, stunning hall and well-mannered staff. Gym was a let down (more like an exercise area), but who goes to Paris to work out? Small rooms are an industry standard in Parisian hotels, but the room I had was not lacking in anything bar size. I slept well, as rooms was quiet.... More

This is a good little hotel which is set about 5 minute walk from Galleries Layfayette. It's not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle which is good because it meant it's a little quieter. Rooms are smallish but I wouldn't expect anything less when in Paris. The hotel staff are very nice and very accommodating. They were... More

This hotel has good location, near the Opera. Staff are warm, accommodating. The buffet breakfast is superb. Rooms are small, but that is expected of hotels in Paris. But even if the rooms are not big, the amenities are very complete. Room interior is also nice and detailed. It exudes feeling of comfort.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
