We did not stay here, just dropped in for a drink. Served by Robin. Hotel area near bar very beautiful with a big gold sofa. Drink was expensive...24 euros for 2 drinks. We just had one each but it was nice to experience a drink in a five star hotel.

fabulous hotel, free upgrade to a suite due to my partners birthday and complimentary champagne, wine and chocolates on both nights. We even had a birthday note from the hotel which was really nice. When we returned to the room on our first evening there was a chocolate and slippers waiting for us. The room was great and the staff... More

The location is very close to the opera and an easy walk down to the banks of the Seine and all the various attractions. We were on a 10 day break in France visiting 3 locations and had booked 5 star hotels at all. As an old bank the reception area was the old banking hall and was very impressive... More

My wife and I visited Paris for the first time for her 30th Birthday celebrations. The Reception team were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel and our room were beautiful. Ideal central location for sightseeing.

A week in July encompassing the Bastille Day festivities. Booked a suite at Banke Hotel, beautiful typical Parisian style building and grand entrance with a stained glass skylight. Room was very spacious and of good quality with a massive, comfortable bed. The bathroom was large and there was plenty of wardrobe space for hanging clothes. The room was kept very... More

Great place for a romantic weekend in Paris. Service was brilliant. Decor is fantastic. Dinner at Josefin restaurant was also very nice. Situated in a really nice area close to Galleries La Fayette and L'Opera.

Very good Hotel and Staff. The only down side was that there was only a very small gym area and limited equipment. Apart from this the Hotel was beautiful, clean and tidy. The Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was very close to all attractions and a 10eu taxi ride to Trocadero etc.

I have travelled to Paris a few times for work and I have stayed in many hotels. I have been in super budget hotels, to incredible hotels. This hotel was the latter. Wow! As soon as you walk through the corner door of the entrance, you are greeted by someone at the front. Very kind and helpful... a first for... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
