What a gem in St.Germain. A boutique hotel tucked away from the hustle and bustle and only a few minutes from Saint Sulpice, Latin Quarter, Montparnasse, Luxembourg Gardens and still walking distance to Notre Dame etc. The hotel is very, very cozy and nicely decorated. The rooms are also beautifully decorated. The breakfast was served in a small breakfast room... More

This is a top notch hotel. The staff is very well trained and gracious. The hotel is extremely clean, the linens good. I enjoyed having complimentary fruit and sparkling water. There was nothing that was too much to ask.

The hotel is located in a very quiet street minutes from Luxemburg gardens. The was rather small (like most hotel rooms in Paris) but it was very cosy, well decorated with great balcony. The complementary expresso machine was great and new capsules and cups were replaced every day. The bath was very clean, well supplied and clean towels were replaced... More

Dear Yinon1968, I can see that you have a very good knowledge of Paris & of its specific characteristics and I am really honoured that you recommend our hotel. I regret nevertheless that you did not try our gourmet breakfast, made "à la minute", in order to always serve fresh products ! We would have been pleased to serve you... More

My husband and I made reservations weeks in advance of our trip to Paris to celebrate my recovery from a serious illness. I did a great deal of on-line research to select a perfect spot. When we arrived on October 2nd at 1330 hours, we were indeed delighted with our choice. The location was lovely, and the lobby and courtyard... More

Dear Kate K, First of all, I would like to appologize again for the inconvenience. I regret that we had to find you an other hotel to stay. I wish I had another room available that day ! Moreover, I thank you for your kind words about the hotel and the room. However, I would like to give answer about... More

This is a small hotel in the 6th arrondisment on the left bank in Paris. Only about 20 rooms; quiet, nice helpful staff, speak English very well. Small breakfast room -bar, but we had coffee and croissants in our room, which was spacious and nice for Paris. Free internet. A romantic hideaway; our room was 400 euros per night.

This was my 2nd time staying at Villa Madame. It was even more fabulous than my first time (5 years ago!). The staff is just terrific. The property is inviting - rich and cozy, and the rooms are larger than most in Paris (and I've been to Paris about a dozen times). Large windows open for fresh air and seem... More

Good place to stay if you can afford a boutique hotel. The location is great, as it is near Luxumborg Gardens. It is a quick walk to St. Germaine. The breakfast is excellent. Also, there are a couple of markets close by to buy inexpensive drinking water for the room. Plenty of bakeries close buy as well. The refrigerator came... More

My husband I thoughly enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable sleeping and showers were excellent. Bring your own blow dryer though. The staff was very friendly and courtious. Loved the outdoor patio and cozy feel to this boutique hotel. Would definitely recommend this gem. This was in the Latin quarter and had every feeling of what we expected, small, cozy, colorful... Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
