the cheapest place I could find a private 2 room place anywhere near paris. Acceptable for the price but know what you're in for. Showers are in room and seem slightly moldy, if you're only there for a night or two and can get by without a shower then its totally worth it. The breakfast is a hard baguette and... More

I was in Bastille Hostel for 2 nights. i reserved a single room with shower. the bed was really small. the shower was hot. Friendly staff. The problem was internet. It only work between 10 am to 11 pm. you have to leave your own bedroom between 11 am and 3 pm.

The acomodations were great, the view, the bed, the shower was hot and powerful and they have an elevator too. The subway is near the hotel, there are restaurants and markets nearby aswell, we were very well treated by all the employees, there is a room where you can keep your luggage before you've checked in or after you've checked... Although I liked this hostel offered me free breakfast and located at good location, breakfasts were same..same...same..... It was so hard to me. And the blanket was dirty so I requested new blanket which is well cleaned, but receptionist wasn't change my blanket. Especially, when it comes to my room's shower booth, hot water was not come out so I... More

The location is great, it is very near to the subway station and there are lots of restaurants and bars around. But I consider this hostel a very strange place, because I had some problems there: I can`t really understand why you cannot stay in your own bedroom between 11am and 3pm. This is ridiculous! I paid for this, I... More

Someone has already said it but I'll say it again. You get what you pay for!! For the price, I think this place was safe and comfortable with a great location. I liked being able to "afford" a private room in Paris for me a solo traveler. I liked having a private shower/sink, in room TV and a gorgeous view... More

I visited this hostel last year but I still remember it very well. We were visiting by car, so I was a bit concerned about having a (safe) parking spot. The people from the hostel told me I could get a spot in the parking garage. I asked about this twice, just to be sure. We then booked the rooms... More

The location and price of the hostel led me to book it for a weekend in Paris but it was one of the worst youth hostels I have been to. The building is very old and dingy, the rooms are alright but the bathrooms/toilets are shared across the floor and very limited in number and pretty bad. The breakfast is... More

Sadly it happened and I found myself disappointed by a youth hostel; a first among the many cities I've visited so far and it appears quite rich that the one I had the worst experience with is also the one I left most money for.
