We were travelling with three older children so were crammed in. The beds for the kids were ordinary but ours was good. The location is great and Rue Cadet is absolutely charming. The staff on the front desk were very helpful and friendly. It was fine for us bit not gushing and maybe not likely to return - but we... More

My wife, my 8 years old daughter and I want to Paris this October and stay in Residence Cosy's Cadet for a week. The hotel is quiet. The room is not like other's in Paris, it is big enough. All the cooking facility are there. So we can buy grocery from Carryfour City nearby and cook by myself. It is... More

The room is quite Poor. It's different from pictures and there's no door between rooms. The price is acceptable, but it was bad then I thought. The location is also hard to find. The taxi driver also couldn't find.

We stayed for two nice at the end of November and had a great, roomy apartment, beautifully fitted out and immaculately cleaned.Large open plan space with two super cosy double beds, large sofa ( which was a sofabed) tv, free wifi and neat kitchen. A great location with Metro station nearby and a lovely street setting.

Me and my partner (now fiancé ) popped big question in Paris. We were recommended the area by friends and it was perfect for metro, directly across from metro down side street, so great for getting to and from airport. Took about an hour to get there from airport. Area is 9th district and is easy walking distance to all... More

Stayed here for 4 nights at the start of October, really nice appartment, great location and excellent value for money. Stayed in room 15 on the first floor, would ask for that room next time. 5 minute walk from the nearest metro station.

Arriving at 1am by taxi down a narrow street, first appearances were offputting, especially as there were a group of bikers partying opposite. We were greeted by a large blank gate, but when we went inside, there was a large garden area with the hotel at the back of the block. The foyer was attractive, and we were very impressed... More

We chose the hotel particularly that it was a self contained apartment in Paris. The location was very handy to restaurants, hop on hop off bus. The supermarket close by was convenient for our self catering needs. On arrival the elevator wasn't working and it was very hot, we had to lug out suit cases up 3 flights of steps... More

To break it down Pros: +Location, right in the 9th arr with a lot good restaurants, shopping etc. nearby +Size of the apartments, in Paris the rooms tend to be very small +Friendly staff Cons -Cleanliness of the hotel. They absolutely need to pay more attention to the cleaning. Dustbunnies here and there, a soaking wet bathroom floor when we... More

I traveled with two other people so I am not positive if all the rooms were as large as ours but the unit we stayed in was like a mini apartment. Full kitchen, couches, etc. The location was also fantastic which I wasn't expecting. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, basically anything you would need right outside. Its a... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
