This is my first Trip Advisor review ever and unfortunately sharing our bad experience with you. Booked through our travel agent we did all our checks, online reviews and compared with other apartments yet still fell into an experience that was totally unexpected. Day 1 of our 8 week family European holiday we caught a taxi from Paris airport and... More

This place obviously loves the "bait and switch" We booked to stay at the following apartment 4, Rue Etienne Marcel Avenue Franklin Roosevelt, 08 as this location best suited our itinerary. Upon arriving late at night we found keys for a completely different location kilometers away. I emailed the following morning with no response , only after getting a local... More

dear Guest many thanks for your review. It will help us improve our service. I don't understand where your initial booking was as you are giving us 2 different locations. Champs Elysées with the address of our office and Rue Etienne Marcel which was the main address in the Marais. But Bridgestreet Paris offers several locations (Champs Elysées, Marais, Opera,... We stayed here in the first week of July and had various problems, including a bed that collapsed and was not repaired until 72 hours later. I went to the office to discuss, but the person at the desk (after checking with the back office) told me to write an email with my complaint. I have travelled widely and have... More

The logistics of getting to this place is awkward, particularly with kids in tow, and luggage. In fact, quite unmanageable with a number of large suitcases. This was what we had to do: Eurostar arrived at Gare du Nord. We placed a telephone call to the BridgeStreet office. They gave us directions to their office near the Champs Elysses. Two... More

We were staying in the apartment for 3 days. It is really more pleasant than staying in the hotel as you are like at home. Very comfortable for a long stay with a family. The rooms were big enough, we had our own kitchen with probably everything you may need(dishes, kettle etc), that was really helpful if you prefer to... More

Ok so now you all know from the reviews that you have to first go to 4 rue Etienne Marcel to get the keys, and only there you will receive a letter with the address of your actual apartment (no human presence or intervention). Our apartment was at 3 rue des petit-carreaux only 7 mins walk from the keys pick-up... More

I got a pretty large appartment, way to big if you're traveling on your own, with beds for 5 people ! Great bathroom, even a fully equipped kitchen which you don't need in this area with a great choice of all sorts of restaurants.

Too little room for storage of luggage as the room was already "maxed out" with inventory. Sofa bed was very poor, so we ended up sleeping on the floor. But most importantly: A GREAT location which was what we were looking for in the first place!

We booked two apartments in Paris with Bridgestreet Marias having had a fantastic apartment from Bridgestreet on a recent trip to London. As with other revues we were directed to one location to collect keys to then find we were staying somewhere else. Unlike some we were only given an address , no directions, we then had a twenty minute... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
