The location is indeed perfect. The crew is nice and helpful. Everything is working, including Internet . But the claim to be a boutique hotel or even anything near the idea of luxury is misleading. We rented the "little house" and it indeed is little, or even better: tiny, microscopic. You can barely walk around the beds, the living room... More

If you are traveling to Paris, this hotel is a must. We traveled with young children and could not have been more delighted with the location or the accommodations! The hotel staff is very kind and helpful - the individual apartments are spacious and modern but maintain the old world Parisian style. The kitchens are very well equipped and there... More

My family and I stayed at La Maison for a few days and it was just wonderful. The apartment was lovely, very clean and with everything you may need during your stay. Location cannot be any better: lots of restaurants, cafes, boulangeries and grocery shops just steps away as well as the metro. Would definitely recommend and come back.

La Maison is perfectly situated on the edge of St. Germain and the Latin Quarter. Everything is in walking distance or a short cab ride. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The place is clean and provides a hotel level of convienence with an apartment type of living. La Maison is outstanding in every way.

We stayed for 4 days in the little house (Petite Maison) and it was wonderful. Clean, quiet and overall a terrific Paris experience! St. Germain is a excellent place for restaurants, grocery, pastries, fresh fruit and vegetables, and overall vibe. We would definitely stay here again.

Just three minutes away from the metro at St Germain (closer still to the slightly less useful Mabillon), and therefore the obligatory Les Deux Magots and Le Relais de l'Entrecôte, you literally have all of Paris on your doorstep. The apartment itself is perfectly appointed with everything you could need; the little kitchen could save you a lot of euros... More

We booked this apartment 10 months prior to going to Paris, based on the excellent reviews it received. Clearly these reviews did not apply to the Studio on the 1st Floor. It was the only accommodation on that floor, located next to the office. The Studio faced onto Boulevarde St Germain. As there was no air conditioning we had to... More

We absolutely LOVED our 4 night stay at La Maison in March 2015 as well as the location on the Left Bank just off Boulevard St. Germain. Las Maison is more like having your own local apartment than a hotel room. We were 10-20 minutes walking distance to everything except the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre and the Monet Marmotton (by the... We booked La Petite Maison which is a lovely little town house in the middle of the "hotel". The accommodation is split over 3 floors which may prove difficult for some travellers as the stairs are quite tight. Each of double rooms are of a good size and have windows looking down onto your little courtyard. The living room/kitchen is... More

I visited the 6th floor apartment in February with 5 friends for my 30th birthday. We were very impressed by the decor/location/views etc of the apartment. It was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were also very friendly so no faults there. However, on the Friday night we notified the staff that we had NO hot water from any... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
