We booked this apartment 10 months prior to going to Paris, based on the excellent reviews it received. Clearly these reviews did not apply to the Studio on the 1st Floor. It was the only accommodation on that floor, located next to the office. The Studio faced onto Boulevarde St Germain. As there was no air conditioning we had to... More

However, we are really sorry to read that your experience with us did not fully meet your expectations. Next time, please feel free to inform us directly about... More

We absolutely LOVED our 4 night stay at La Maison in March 2015 as well as the location on the Left Bank just off Boulevard St. Germain. Las Maison is more like having your own local apartment than a hotel room. We were 10-20 minutes walking distance to everything except the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre and the Monet Marmotton (by the... We booked La Petite Maison which is a lovely little town house in the middle of the "hotel". The accommodation is split over 3 floors which may prove difficult for some travellers as the stairs are quite tight. Each of double rooms are of a good size and have windows looking down onto your little courtyard. The living room/kitchen is... More

I visited the 6th floor apartment in February with 5 friends for my 30th birthday. We were very impressed by the decor/location/views etc of the apartment. It was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were also very friendly so no faults there. However, on the Friday night we notified the staff that we had NO hot water from any... More

We were a family of 6 and reading the reviews of this apartment and how close it was to the metro made this decision a no-brainer! Best decision ever. We stayed on the 6th floor, which had 2 bedrooms and a convertible sofa/bed in the living hall upstairs. Perfect for 6 people. The view of the Eiffel Tower was the... More

I stayed in the apartment for one night. The maison is in a fantastic location, right on the boulevard St Germain. St Germain is very central many of the main tourist attractions are within easy reach. This is not really a hotel..... it does not have all the amenities you would expect i.e. gym, restaurant, pool etc. It is small... More

The location is less that 5 minutes walk away from St Germain De Pres Metro and has plenty of thing around including the supermarket, strews of cafes and obviously a Macaroon shop for the ladies. We stayed over in the studio apartment which was plenty for two and just as picturesque as the photos. Getting around and walking everywhere was... More

If you have been looking for hotels in Paris as a family, you must have noticed how small rooms are. Well we stayed at La Maison Saint Germain for a couple of nights this past Christmas with our daughter, and it was perfect. 1)Location takes a 10- in the 6th arrondissement (mon favori!). Metro, restaurants, cafés, shopping, sights, you name... More

The hotel was difficult to find, but in a fairly good location on Blvd. St. Germain. The touted view of the Eiffel Tower is less than stellar; we had to really go out on the balcony to see it. We reserved a 2 bdrm apartment that was very pretty and clean, with bedrooms (one had windows opening to balcony with table) and bathroom with washing machine. This apartment exceeded our expectations with views, comfort and location. The kitchen... More

Dear Pamela, Thank you for sharing your experience on Tripadvisor. We are glad our Duplex allows you to spend an enjoyable stay in Paris . The elevator was retrofitted into the old building typically Parisian. Regarding The Latin Quarter where our hotel is located, it offers the best opportunities to visit Paris by walk . Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
