We booked La Petite Maison which is a lovely little town house in the middle of the "hotel". The accommodation is split over 3 floors which may prove difficult for some travellers as the stairs are quite tight. Each of double rooms are of a good size and have windows looking down onto your little courtyard. The living room/kitchen is... More

I visited the 6th floor apartment in February with 5 friends for my 30th birthday. We were very impressed by the decor/location/views etc of the apartment. It was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were also very friendly so no faults there. However, on the Friday night we notified the staff that we had NO hot water from any... More

We were a family of 6 and reading the reviews of this apartment and how close it was to the metro made this decision a no-brainer! Best decision ever. We stayed on the 6th floor, which had 2 bedrooms and a convertible sofa/bed in the living hall upstairs. Perfect for 6 people. The view of the Eiffel Tower was the... More

I stayed in the apartment for one night. The maison is in a fantastic location, right on the boulevard St Germain. St Germain is very central many of the main tourist attractions are within easy reach. This is not really a hotel..... it does not have all the amenities you would expect i.e. gym, restaurant, pool etc. It is small... More

The location is less that 5 minutes walk away from St Germain De Pres Metro and has plenty of thing around including the supermarket, strews of cafes and obviously a Macaroon shop for the ladies. We stayed over in the studio apartment which was plenty for two and just as picturesque as the photos. Getting around and walking everywhere was... More

If you have been looking for hotels in Paris as a family, you must have noticed how small rooms are. Well we stayed at La Maison Saint Germain for a couple of nights this past Christmas with our daughter, and it was perfect. 1)Location takes a 10- in the 6th arrondissement (mon favori!). Metro, restaurants, cafés, shopping, sights, you name... More

The hotel was difficult to find, but in a fairly good location on Blvd. St. Germain. The touted view of the Eiffel Tower is less than stellar; we had to really go out on the balcony to see it. For our stay, we booked two units: the Duplex and the Little House. The two bedrooms in the Duplex were of... More

We reserved a 2 bdrm apartment that was very pretty and clean, with bedrooms (one had windows opening to balcony with table) and bathroom with washing machine. Bedrooms were of good size with storage and comfortable bedding. Kitchen and living area were narrow curving stairs, with another balcony. This apartment exceeded our expectations with views, comfort and location. The kitchen... More

We were so happy to stay at this great Hotel. It is just like living like a local and there is plenty of room and the equipped kitchen was very helpful. We spent only two nights here but the beds are comfortable, even the sofa sleeper wasn't too bad! We stayed on the 6th floor apartment which has two floors;... More

Cute one bedroom apartment, well located in the lively Latin Quarter. Close to bars, restaurants boutiques and supermarkets. Clean, well equipped, quiet (once the windows are closed), spacious and with a comfortable bed. Close to the subway. Walking distance to all the main attractions.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
