Well, together with my husband we wanted to try new trendy hotel in Paris and this was the place. We shall not return. Plus - The cosmetics are good quality. - There is a bar that serves also decent food. Minus - The rooms are tiny and very dark - In the morning, the staff starts passing vaccuum at 9am.... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. We chose the hotel because we are young Brooklynites and thought the concept looked cool, plus we liked that it was outside of the city center and wanted to explore other neighborhoods. I was nervous about the lack of access to public transportation, but it ended up being fine - it... More

You'll sleep 1km away from Jim Morrison's grave in a funny place, with a lot of young people. Continental breakfast is very rich, the rooms are really particular and all seems to be like an artwork. You can have a lot of fun here, but some things are a bit too expensive (e.g. cocktails and breakfast).

It certainly helps profits to have a rocking bar in the same building as a hotel. But try selling that to the guests who are on the floor above and whose windows are not six foot above the terrace bar. I asked not to be here and was rudely told at reception, with no apology and sarcastic sneer - nothing... More

We stayed with a group for just one night but we had a great time in MamaShelter! The rooms were very comfortable, the bar and lounge is amazing and the breakfast was also really good. The service was always on top of everything, they even arrange to deliver a phone that we left behind! Thanks for everything, will definitely be... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here, in our first trip to Paris. It is far away from all the tourist sights, but the metro is just a few blocks away. Staff are very friendly, and helpful I also liked the extras like free movies, optional museum passes and bus/metro tickets. Saved a lot of fuss, especially if it's your first... More

Fantastic concept. Room was rather small, but all we needed was there. Funny details. Star is the restaurant: the atmosphere, the people, the design, the menu. The neighboorhood at the time was not that exciting. Friendly staff. We'll be back, for sure!

Mama Shelter in Paris: interior design by Philippe Starck. Best ask for a room with terrace, the other rooms are very small. The restaurant is a trendy place where also people from Paris like to spend their evening. There is save parking space, carwash included if you want. In the near of Père Lachaise.

Super friendly staff at check-in .. almost a Paris delight. We traveled as a couple with our teenage daughter and booked a 3 bed room. Nothing special really, the room was a bit small, I can imagine it to be a normal 2bed room where they placed an extra bed. Underground parking available. Just make sure to not leave and... More
