Was on business trip.. had a comfortable stay..The light in the room is not enough..location was fine ..connectivity to the metro .5-7 mins walk..good for health..Nice breakfast spread-out..no menu change on all 3 days..must have variation..that's the only thing you can change for the guest.. Specially the restaurant were packed out all evening to full on all days of my... More

For value for money you don't get much better than this in Paris - modern, compact but comfy rooms with lovely quality bed linen and a great shower. Not much floor space around the bed but what else are you going to do in there except sleep while you're in Paris?! Quirky little touches everywhere as well and a cool... More

We had high expectations of this hotel in view of its reputation as a hip, boutique hotel. It was a let down. All frills and 'packaging', no substance and possibly riding on the designer's appeal. Too highly priced rooms for such a poor location.

a great place to stay, even with young kids! very important for me...a great breakfast with real fresh bread and not this disgusting deep frozen bread that doesn't taste anything! always atmosphere, dj at night! the restaurant is worth to try, always packed and buzy but waiters are very professional!pizzeria is worth to try too, nice to grap a pizza... This place is incredible. We booked a terrace room with our own little balcony. Though the rooms are compact, everything is designed to fit perfectly and the bed is the best I've ever slept in. Pillows to die for. I can't recommend MS enough. The restaurant is also fantastic.

An excellent choice to stay in Paris for a short stay. Perfect when you travel by car: private parking under hotel. Fun and non serious vibe: for me it's like 'a youth hostel-de luxe' for adults (and teens). We love it. TV with free movies, fun masks near the bed, pizza at night and the most loving staff who talks... More

First visit to Mama Shelter in Paris 10th. A popular spot judging by the number of people queuing to check in and check out! Got upgraded to a deluxe room - wonder what the regular rooms are like as this was pretty small and very basic. They could do with some information leaflets/instructions as to getting internet connection and TV... More

Henry and I spent some time in Paris last week at Mama Shelter. We definitely felt like we never wanted to leave that place. I have been living most of my life in the 20th arrondissement and I love it. I was really happy to spend a couple of days there again. Everyday was like we arrived for the first... More

Hip and happening, so if that's not your thing then maybe it's not your hotel. Very friendly service. Good food,Great breakfast! Buzzy restaurant/bar (every night, but especially during the weekends). Great bloody marys!! I loved the rooms, small but really well designed (if a little too dark). And really reasonable pricing. Certainly not centrally located.

The Paris Mama Shelter is in an off the beaten track area that reminded us of Hoxton and Shoreditch in London. We would never have found it except it is close to the National Center for Demographic Research (INED). From the outside it looks modern with lovely clean lines. Inside the decor is pretty unusual. Staff are young, friendly and... More
