Quirky stylish decor, spacious rooms for a Paris hotel. Great bathroom, aircon, free films and wifi. Single rooms make for good value. well above similarly priced hotels. Fabulous food, funky bar. Bus at the door.

All I can say is make sure you do not get room 706. No mirrors in bedroom and as a female I was unable to see myself when dressed and to put on my makeup. Yes I had a mirror in the bathroom unfortunately only one light working. I did ask staff if it was possible to put a mirror... More

This was my 3rd visit to Mama Shelter, having stayed in the Lyon and Istanbul branches before. I love this hotel; its quirky, cool, stylish. The rooms are comfortable (had a great nights sleep) The bar is very trendy and unique and the cocktails were delicious. It is a little bit further out of town but it is only 5... More

Have stayed in Paris many times and this hotel is my favourite. The bed is super comfortable, the staff are welcoming, knowledgable and nothing is too much trouble. Loved the decor. Room is a good size for Paris. Lots of reviews have stated that hotel is young and hip (I'm middle aged) but I don't feel out of place and... More

This was our second visit to Paris in the last year and last time we stayed at thoumieux in Saint germain which was a lovey boutique hotel in a good location but we preffered mama shelter even with the out of the way location. We did manage to walk to le marais and it was not too bad but when... More

Mama Shelter is a happening place and very well priced. Designed by Philippe Starck it's quirky, modern and fun but comfort has not been compromised. Being located in the 20e we were a bit worried it would be a trek getting anywhere but it's actually incredibly well located. Within a few steps is a bus stop that goes to St... More

We spent the first week of our honeymoon in Mama Shelter, Paris. We could not have been happier with our stay. The service, decor, amenities, and food were impeccable. Though the location is not in the center of Paris, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel's front door (line 76) that will take you to right to the... More

My boyfriend and I were very glad we chose to stay here for our first trip to Paris together. Yes, you could find a hotel a little more 'central' but it was easy to navigate the metro from here, and one day we walked all the way back from the Left Bank - it's actually a lovely way to see... More

The hotel is close to the metro, probably about a 10-15 minute walk. The rooms are quite unique and there is a bakery nearby that sells a great selection of fresh croissants and quiches. They have all natural skincare products, which is quite rare to find in most hotels.
