I reached paris during night on my first visit and had a search around the hotel, since the the hotel sign board was small. But was happy on reaching the hotel - a safe place to stay in city, I got a room with a built in kitchen so the room size got stuffed a bit, The reception peoples were... More

I've visited the Adagio Access Paris Bastille before 5 years ago and it was a good stay because it was my first time in Paris. I think I was enchanted with being in Paris. I stayed again this year and my husband and I quickly realized we should have booked an air bnb. The place is in a great location... More

The concept of Apart-hotel is wonderful and I can say that rooms are equipped in an accepted way, but the problem is in housekeeping because their policy is to have free housekeeping if you are going to stay less than 3 nights, and If you are going to stay 4 - 7 nights, you are going to pay 20 euro... We stayed here for 7 nights and it was great! Reception staff were very helpful and spoke great English which was very useful. Wifi was nice and fast but did have to keep reconnecting. Location was good, a little walk to the main station of Gare de Lyon and then just across the river (maybe 10mins?) was Austerlitz station which... More

Ok, it's a budget hotel so it's no frills, and not the biggest of rooms. But in terms of what we paid for it was a great stay. As long as you're in Paris to see Paris and not spend too much time in your room this is a great base to work from. We had the 1 bed studio... More

Again this is our 4th visit to this hotel managed by Accor. OK, rooms are small, but are equipped with a kitchenette that saves you money. We have 2 meals in and one out. The rooms are cleaned and functional. The longer you stay the less you pay is correct and for the price it was more than decent. We... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in Jun'14. It was our second stay in this property. The only lift was out of service, which meant we had to haul our suitcases up five floors with no assistance available. Every day we would use the staircase and on departure we had to haul all the suitcases down again. I asked reception... More

Dear Sir/Madam, We would like to thank you for taking the time to write a comment regarding your stay at the Adagio Access Paris Bastille. We do apologize again, for the lift issue during your stay with us. When a receptionnist is working "alone" at the reception, he's not allowed to leave the front desk for security reason. The Adagio Access hotel is very easy to reach with metro Bastille or Ledru-Rollin. For Parisian standards quite normal. Having the kitchenette facilities is good but utensils are used. Interior is out-dated but clean and functional. As expected a bit small, cramped, not too spacious. The mattress by the way is HARD. What makes this hotel and location great? Fresh... More

Staying in Bastille / Oberkampf

Neighborhood Profile
Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighborhood.
