Based on more recent reviews, it looks like this hotel was renovated and rebranded since our stay. Speaking on the location, the hotel is convenient to several Metro stops. We also found the neighborhood to be safe and didn't mind walking back at late hours. If you're concerned about noise from the train - don't worry - we were not... More

Dear guests ! Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed the location of our hotel which is one of our main assets. The area is really very safe so our guests can walk even late at night. Indeed, you stayed with us a year ago and since then the hotel was completely refurbished. We would be... More

I booked this hotel months before my arrival and then received an email reminder about my hotel stay in the "Mercure" hotel...luckily, they kept my reservation in spite of the hotel's name change. The street where this hotel was didn't look the best or the safest. To my surprise, the hotel is beautiful, clean and modern. No business center but... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in May13. It was a little further than I thought from the Eiffel Tower but that didn't matter. Metro wasn't too far. Restaurants about a 5 minute walk away. Booked a twin room including breakfast and when we arrived were told breakfast wasn't included. Thankfully I had printed the confirmation off the website I... More

I booked a room at the Hotel Champlain as part of a weekend away for my Mum's birthday. I have stayed there on two previous occaisions and liked the hotel for its location. I had a confirmed reservation for 2 nights which I had made in August. Since I had made the booking I had not received any communication from... More

I've stayed at the Paris hotel twice now, and I must say after the last time they worked on improving. I had complained to my supplier about them, and tried to change hotels for the next group I was bringing, but there were just not any available.on this trip Hotel Champlain, upgraded us (6 ) and they were more helpful... Spent three days in Paris at this hotel its very average for the price we payed.Also. i have never come across having to pay €1 per day per person in tax.Loved the eiffel tower Notre Dame etc but if Paris charges €1 per day per person then maybe it should be spent on cleaning your streets they are disgusting and... It was a couple of years ago that I stayed here, but it was part of a 'secret hotel' package. It was brilliant, the room was immaculate, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel is literally 5 mins from the Rome metro stop and is on one of the main lines (navy blue,2)... More

Let me start by stating that I would stay here again, but it would not be my first choice. The staff was excellent, super friendly and very helpful. All spoke English which was a major help for our group. The hotel was a good value for the price we paid- the rooms were clean and safe and we spent all... More

This hotel is an older building just a few miles from the center of town. It is a five minute walk to the closest metro station (Rome). It has been renovated and is well designed. Our room was very large for a European hotel. Breakfast was very good.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Champlain for a 6 day trip to Paris. The rooms are small, just enough space for 2 suitcases and carry on bags. The Rooms are typical of European standards. It had a small lift just enough space for 2. Breakfast was included, eggs, sausages, cold cuts, pastries; it was very good. The... More
