A first time visit for my wife to Paris so a special hotel location with quirky décor fitted the bill. With a view over the Seine and Notre Dame on the Left Bank the location takes some beating. Close by restaurants at reasonable prices, good Metro station next door ideal to cover Paris sights.

Great location, just 3 minutes walk from notre dame cathedral . The room was extremely small , too small for 2 people . Very difficult to move around and get ready if more then one person in the room at the same time. The bathroom was very small as well , I loved the plastic , color changing bathtub ..... More

This is hotel is very charming and is a great location ... Rooms are on the small side, but then most rooms are in Paris ... Beds comfy, rooms quirky, modern bathrooms with a great waterfall shower... we had street view, and you could just about see the top of notre dame.. cute french windows. The lobby area is very... Perfect location, close to everything on a quiet alley. 5 minutes walking to Cathedral Notre Dame. Lots of Restaurants nearby. Good Metro connections to everywhere. Good RER-train connections to airports. Room was in very good condition and very clean. Room was quite big for a Parisian Hotel.

Nice hotel, excellent location to reach everything! 2 mins from a metro and notre dame. Rooms cleaned everyday, staff very helpful & friendly. Whilst the room was fairly small (as we expected with parisian hotels) & the toilet was tiny, we couldn't complain, it was perfect for our week inparis. Very modern style room, colour changing jacuzzi bath. Would definately... More

We have really enjoyed our 5 night stay here... The location is fantastic a road away from the cathedral itself and a 2 minute walk to a metro station to travel around Paris. Staff are friendly. Rooms are small, you bounce off the furniture!! We had a light up bath, great fun! Toilet is tiny. No tea and coffee facilities... More

My daughter and I recently spent 4 nites at this hotel very close to the cathedral, thus it's name! The rooms are small which is o.k. and the lighting is minimal and you also need to know that some rooms do not have the privacy of a separate shower or bath. I didn't realize this when I booked the room but... More

Delightful little hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter, across the Seine from Notre Dame Cathedral. Rooms and baths are small by American standards, but nicely appointed and the location is perfect. It's Paris! You're not going to stay in your room anyway. Breakfast is 11 euro per person; a good deal after we browsed the neighborhood. Nothing fancy.... More

The hotel is located in the very heart of Paris, yet the street is very quiet. Our rom was very clean, though tiny but it is typical of Paris. The personnel was great. The young woman on the reception was somewhat unfriendly, but everyone else was superb, especially Dmitry who is absolutely the best!!! The wi-fi signal was very weak... More

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend 5-8/12/14. It was very easy getting to the hotel from Gare du Nord on the Metro, and the hotel is in a wonderful location with Notre Dame at the end of its road. The hotel is beautifully styled and the staff were pleasant. Our room no 32 was unfortunately very small,... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
