This was our second stay at Ilhames wonderful home. It's a great location. Close to Sacre Couer and all the warmth and bustle of Montmatre. Ilhame was as usual an amazing host. Loved our rooms. Clean with very comfortable beds and great decor. The breakfast was amazing and kept us fortified for all the walking around Paris. We will be... More

My husband and I spent 5 nights in this romantic place in Montmartre. We loved everything. Ilhame is a lovely person, she gave us lots of good advice to enjoy Paris. They also have a very French breakfast with "baguette, jus de fruit, thé, café, fromage, etc and a delicious homemade jam. we slept in the Toulousse-Lotrec bedroom and we... More

We spent four nights in this small and romantic hotel. The room was a bit small but very well furnished! The bed was too much comfortable and it was hard to wake up in the morning. The rich breakfast served by the owner is what you need to face a day in Paris! Much recommend!

You will read such similar comments from all who have enjoyed the hospitality of Ilhame, Sammy and their father. What you get are genuine friendliness, helpful courtesy, excellent breakfasts, and a charming location. What you don't get is size of rooms, at least in some instances. I will get the only negative out of the way: the Marrakech room is... More

Wonderfully hospitable b&b. Ilhame and her family run this beautifully restored house in Montmarte. The bathrooms are wonderful, as are the rooms. There are no views, as the building is on an internal court and our room was, as is the case in much of Paris, pretty petite. But little did it matter. The beds are top quality, the linens... More

Plusses: One of the best locations in Paris and very near the metro and bus. Lovely hosts. Quiet and clean room with very comfy bed and plenty of hot water. In room computer. Good towels. Excellent breakfast. Negatives: although no major ones there were a few and collectively added up to my feeling that this was a good B&B but... More

Truly a home away from home. From the minute we arrived until the minute we left, we felt welcome and couldn't have asked for more. Ilhame is a kind and generous host, from her amazing (huge!) breakfasts, to endless patience in printing boarding passes and sending postcards for us. Montmartre is my favorite part of Paris, and has it all... More

we stayed here a week. the owner was on holiday, but her very nice and kind father and brother-in-law looked after us. the welcome was outstanding. Location is great because it is just a block off the beaten path, so much quieter. very close to the subway jules joffrin, which we used every day. In a lovely old building...you have... More

The tag line is "your home in Paris" and that is absolutely how I felt staying here. The hostess is a delight, the location is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast is great - I am ready to go back now! We stayed for over a week and felt totally comfortable - would watch world cup in the "living room"... More

I loved this place from the minute I walked in. I stayed here with my 7 year old son for 3 nights and it was our first time in Paris. When I booked I saw that we would arrive in Paris a lot earlier than check in time so emailed ahead and asked if we could bring our luggage early... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
